Do not take pictures on the street, or you will be arrested and the law enforcer will extort money from you. We were pull over by the police yesterday and extorted 1500 local currency. I was so disappointed with the country, everyone was just trying to survive and doesn't seem to care the image they are projecting for their country. I have traveled to many part of the world, I have never been to a country, i couldn't wait to get out.

The country just got out of a civil war, every one is on edge, specially the SPLA. You are not allow to take pictures of the city or the landscape, if you do, you will end up paying a fine, arrested or beat up by the law enforcers. Stay clear of the country, if you have no business here, nothing much to do, check points all over the country.
