Love this charming boutique hotel. The bed and piilows were amazing, so comfortable. the shower is really big and has an oversized rainfall style shower head. The hot water was perfect and heats up quick. One of the best restaurants/bar is located in this hotel along with a great spa and gift shop. The pool is great, with a waterfall and offers extended hours from 7am-10pm. They also have a hammock and large double swing, rocking chairs, lounge chairs and games. The staff was the best, all so friendly and helpful. The free breakfast was a surprise bonus and aside from the buffet of cereal, bagels, toast, sausage, etc there are made to order eggs and oatmeal. My favorite were the omelettes.
Located on Malakal Island, West Plaza Malakal offers accommodations with cable TV and a refrigerator. It is 2 minutes’ walk from dove shops and the departure point of many popular Koror tours.

I loved the staff. Stephanie went above and beyond to make sure I had an amazing stay. From helping with internet issues when the entire island was struggling, driving me to the big grocery store during a rain storm when I had an urgent need, checking in to make sure I got food, and just genuinely being a friend... she's amazing.
The bed is super comfy, the AC blows cold air, the shower is warm, the kitchen functions, and the internet works in every room (when it works)
Also the breakfast from the Korean restaurant downstairs is authentic and delicious, and the portions in the bento boxes are massive.

Beautiful setting, but facilities were somewhat run down. Has a lot of potential but not well managed. Air conditioning in room worked well.

I loved staying in Koror, the people are very friendly and the nature is superb. It is however very expensive and it is not easy to find places where you can hit the water to swim or kayak - without going on a tour or staying on a expensive hotel.

It's a good place with lots of lovely areas to visit. Great for diving, snorkeling and kayaking. Although there are lots of dive sites it is hard to find dive shops that will take you to wrecks. Most of them go to the most famous dive sites every day (Blue hole, German channel etc) Some good restaurants too such as The Cove, The Drop Off, Fisherman's Grill and Elilai.

A gorgeous island where the people are welcoming.
A gorgeous island where the people are welcoming. I wish I had seen more of it. We were on a dive trip. We had a incredible time but we were so tired at the end of each day our last day we decided to rest and stay at the hotel, The Cove, witch was beautiful and relaxing.

If you are looking for a snorkelling paradise the Palau is the place. I’ve been to a number of South Pacific Islands and this is certainly one of the best. Its extremely safe and has a laid-back Island feel.
The snorkelling is first class and the jelly fish trip is a must. We went on our tours with Fish and Fins Diving, they exceeded our expectations, very professional and great to deal with
Turned out to be a great option. Rooms have everything you need, good A/C, good WiFi. Only paid 99 plus 20% tax (ridiculous % but it’s Palau) so 119.34 was the total. Sounds expensive but compared to other options in April this is a top option if you have a car.
Breakfast was okay, warm food but not a buffet. Didn’t see any other guests but I checked in late and checked out very early for Smile Air and then IMPAC snorkeling.
Property has a small fitness center even though it is not listed on Booking as having one.
The house is perfectly located in Koror, nearby shops and restaurants. It is perfect for large groups with large common areas, plenty of showers and restrooms including outdoors which is really useful when coming back from the sea.The garden area is great for morning breakfast or evening bbq. We were a large group and some others guests also stayed at the same time which allows to make new acquaintances in a great environment.
Finally the owner is very helpful, replying promptly and welcoming us warmly.
VERY friendly host family – Godiva, Jurong, and their 4Js (4 lovely kids!). Jurong embraced us with his Palauan warm charming welcome when we landed at the airport, and Godiva constantly made sure our stay was pleasant, and made our trip to Peleliu possible with her incredible travel info gathering ability 😊
The house was super spacious and the view was breathtaking when the sun beams in. Bed was comfortable and we slept super well.
for us it was the perfect hotel in Koror - for cost/price it was the best option for us. the hotel is located directly at the main center of koror - the diving center are offering pick up and drop off service so it is no problem to get there. there is also a rental car station directly across the street.
the staff is brilliant, they help you with everything at every time.
The apartment was big with a nice living Room and big bedrooms/suites.
The staff was the best I've ever found on my list of travels.
Leo was great and gave us the best recommendations for tours and restaurants.
Sylvia and Josh were also very professionals and made us feeling at home.
I would highly recommend Shell Villas when you come to Palau.
Huge room. Clean and with all necessities.
Very convenient location, right above King Palace restaurant. Far enough from the center of Koror, but still within the walking distance (15 minutes) to restaurants and shopping.
The owner, Stephanie, was amazing. Very kind and always willing to help. Thank you! I will be back!
The room is really nice and in an excellent location in Koror. It is possible to reach everywhere on foot. The kitchenette is well equipped and comes in handy when you want a change to restaurant food or a cheap meal. Stephanie the manager/owner is really nice and helpful with making arrangements.
The hotel is centraly located in Koror and the room was very big, actually a studio with equipped kitchenette. The owner and team were very helpful to book tours and taxi. A transfer to airport was included. Internet worked pretty well.
It is really nice and comfortable place, cool beach, room is very big and spacious, staff is very friendly and try to help the guest with any question, Wi-Fi was excellent and be available on all space of the hotel, the price is great
Breakfast buffet was quite good. All the hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. I really appreciate little things like the fact they provide laundry detergent. I also liked that they provided guest laundry machines.
Overall experience is ok. Front desk staff isn’t too friendly nor helpful. Only one restaurant is opened but the food is quite decent. Room’s quite old, not great for the value, but it’s prob the best hotel in town.
Center of Koror, clean and nice housekeeping, useful kitchen and common area, helpful staff, nice spacious room with AC. Very comfortable stay while I learn about Palau :)
