The UK's 2nd largest city, Birmingham is one of its top cultural centers. Well-known for its M6 Spaghetti Junction interchange, it's also a surprisingly green city with lots of open spaces.
Most city center hotels in Birmingham are near New Street Station. To the east is the futuristic architecture of the new Bull Ring shopping center, and behind that is Digbeth Bus Station. To the west is Victoria Square, home of the town hall and a German Christmas Market.
The Mailbox is one of the newest additions to the Birmingham shopping scene, and behind it is one of the canals converging on the Gas Street Basin. By one canal are the ICC (International Convention Center) and the NIA (National Indoor Arena), both venues that host major events.
Just across the street is Brindleyplace, a canal-front complex of restaurants, bars and hotels near Broad Street – the main nightlife area. It is popular with students at nearby Birmingham University, whose clock tower is modeled on the one in Siena. Just south in Bournville is Cadbury World, and there are several hotels on Hagley Road to the north, which are available on Booking.com.
The city is also known for sports – Aston Villa and Birmingham City are the top soccer clubs, while Edgbaston Cricket Ground hosts international matches. Other Birmingham attractions include Hockley’s Jewellery Quarter and the NEC arena by Birmingham International Airport.

Birmingham is a busy and growing city with a lot of development going on. But there are great museums, a sea life centre, Legoland, a lot to see. The best thing is that it´s within a day's trip to Leicester, Coventry, Warwick, Stratford, and many more splendid places.

This property is a scam!
This property is a scam! We are not very happy for it was so dirty and disgusting! It was totally different from the picrure to the actual place!!! All bedsheets and duveys are so dirty, stinky and blood stain! The kitchen is full of mess and rubbish! The sitting area are full of chewing gums! The toilet bowl is full of poo! The sink a lot of hair!!!! A normal people cannot stay on that kind of place! Booking.com should give us a full refund!!!!which they never did!

Since building the tram ways into Birmingham is has made it safe for pedestrians but taken away the vibe the buzz of socialising and pushed it into down town Birmingham where the train station is. Watch your pockets get drained by over pricing your pocket, we were over charged for a meal by £30 they blamed it on the technology they were using.

Fantastic compact City, with everything you would need for a short stay. It was so easy to navigate and the bars, restaurants and hotel we experienced were top notch.
The canal area with it's lively restaurants is a real buzz, if you like that!
We came from Ireland and it really was a hop and a skip to get right to the centre of the City from our own doorstep.
I would highly recommend Birmingham for a visit if you like shopping, restaurants and very friendly people. We will be back!

Extremely impressed by Birmingham and ideal for a short break. The canal, Westside area has been completely redeveloped. There are many restaurants, theatres, a concert hall and arena all around the canal area. It’s all beautifully clean, modern with lots to see and do. It’s only a short walk to the Bull Ring offering a great selection of shops and places to eat. Central Birmingham has been reinvented over the last decade! Well worth a visit.

Great city centre with world class art gallery and museum (...
Great city centre with world class art gallery and museum (though currently being refurbished) and marvellous rep. theatre, well thought-out pedestrianisation and landscaping, shopping and many other attractions
We landed at Birmingham airport at 2am and arrived at the hotel at around 3am. There was a 24 hour reception so this was no problem. The room was exactly what we needed - somewhere to sleep that was clean and convenient. It was about a 15 min drive from the airport but was a fraction of the cost of the airport hotels. Parking was £8 for 24 hours but as we arrived in the early hours, it meant we could go into Birmingham in the morning as the car was safely parked and paid for.
The location is excellent and really convenient for everything Birmingham has to offer. There was no noise from anywhere else in the building and the balcony was a great bonus. The apartment was very clean and tidy and the host gave us detailed instructions for everything including the heating and hot water. On-site allocated parking was fantastic too. The host is responsive and helpful.
When I booked other hotels in Birmingham were charging 3 or 4 times more for a twin room. The Station Inn was clean and exactly what I wanted for a single night's stay. The staff were both friendly and helpful, and the fried breakfast served in the bar was exactly what was needed after a night out. It was also very easy to travel into Birmingham City centre from the nearby station.
The mister at the reception was incredibly friendly and funny and welcoming, he really contributed to the joy of my stay. The hotel is 10 min walking to the city center, a little bit uphill. 5 minutes to the Chinese quarter and gay village. Restaurants and supermarket are adjacent to the hotel. The room was spacious, modern and comfy.
Breakfast was lovely and staff were very helpful. The location was perfect, at least, for me. Bus links into the city centre were a few steps from the door. a few of the attractions in Birmingham were a bus ride or two away. Tesco was right across the hotel and access to other shops down Hagley road. Glad for this recommendation.
First impressions were positive and checking in was pain-free with friendly and informative reception staff. The room was spacious, the bed was large and comfortable and it was all reasonably clean if a tad dusty. The hotel’s location is central making it very easy to access all the main amenities of Birmingham city centre.
Beautiful architecture shines out in this lovely, restored hotel, located in the heart of Birmingham’s grand city centre, opposite a pleasant city park. Rooms stylish, modern and well appointed, with lovely bathrooms. Madeleine’s cocktail bar is a wonderful space and we had a lovely breakfast in the Isaacs restaurant.
Beds and blankets, we slept well.
Breakfast was thoroughly enjoyable and very very good and supportive staff
Our stay was excellent.
We stayed for 3 nights and we recommend the hotel for singles and couples for sure.
It's also close national sea life aquarium. Very accessible for public transports too.
A nice hotel situated in the jewellery Quarter of Birmingham a 10 to 15 minutes walk from the city centre. The room was clean and tidy, very comfortable bed, the decor tasteful, tea and coffee making facilities and mini fridge, an overall nice place to stay if youre visiting the city.
The room is amazing, beds were very comfortable and the staff, especially the receptionist were SOO helpful. Id definitely a place to stay here again when Im back in Birmingham city centre. We had an work event at the hotel and it was definitely supported nicely by the hotel.
Breakfast was very good, selection and quality . Staff were excellent, good advice on traveling using public transport to get in and out of the city centre. really appreciated being able to leave the car in the hotel whilst we went to the open day at Birmingham University.
Lovely comfortable hotel. Friendly and helpful staff. Was perfect for course I attended in City centre. Perfect for metro link into city centre. Comfortable quiet room for goods nights sleep. Thank you, will book again if have another course in Birmingham
The hotel was modern, in the perfect location literally few minutes walk from New Street Station and Birmingham City Centre. The room was small but had every we needed. The bed was comfy, had a tv, good shower that was a decent size.
Very central location so easy access to shops, bars and restaurants in the city centre (although we did stay here because my son was getting married in the hotel. Stunning views of the whole of Birmingham
The staff was very accommodating. The breakfast was very good with a good variety of foods. The hotel was convenient to Ubers and the train . We will return for another visit next year
