Located at the top of the hill, the views are stunning from the villa. It’s a beautiful property with so much character throughout. There are lovely landscaped grounds, a nice bbq and plenty of sun loungers for everyone. We loved table tennis table and all of the furniture is nicely positioned for socialising. There is plenty of space throughout and we loved that there were two fridges and several coffee machines of various types. It’s only a short drive to Palafrugell where you can buy everything you need. There are several supermarkets nearby and a big wine outlet too. Beaches nearby are stunning. It’s a really nice area to stay in. Overall, I would return in a heartbeat.

Occupying an impressive elevated location in the wooded environs of Vall Llobrega with sea views, Can Lari is a wonderfully spacious property belonging to charming local owners. Designed and constructed to high standards, evidence of the meticulous attention to detail can be seen in the quality of the wood, ceramics and décor where a sympathetic blend of both traditional and modern materials creates a welcoming house very much in harmony with its rural surroundings. Adjacent to the foothills of the Les Gavarres mountain range, the area around Vall Llobrega is famous for virgin forests of cork and pine. Just 1.5km away, the hamlet of Vall Llobrega is home to a local bar and two restaurants, both renowned for their excellent value and much frequented by the local Catalan community. There is also a bakery within the hamlet and further shopping facilities are easily found just a 5 minute drive away. The beautiful sandy beach of Platja de Castell is a 10 minute drive away, whilst the nearby port of Palamós is famed for its 'gambas' (prawns) and many other fresh and tasty dishes served in the numerous 'tapas' bars dotted amongst the cobbled back streets.
