Ideal location, short walks to two beautiful beaches (Sonabia and Orinon). Great location to do day trips (Santander, Bilbao, inlands of Cantabria). Lots of nice tips and tricks are also given by Carmen, with a selection of touristic trips and sights and a clear description of some hikes to around the location.

Sunbathing naked and bathing in the natural pools offered by the low tide of Sonabia beach, is one of the pleasures that can not be described with words. Discover how the mountains with their impressive walls fall directly to the sea and touch the sands of the beach, which makes this coast a unique and exceptional place. The sea temperature ranges between: 14 degrees in December, 18-20 in June, 20-23 in July, 22-25 in August and 21-23 in September. We have a very complete video library with the latest films released on DVD in English, French, German Italian, Russian, Portuguese and Spanish. We have extensive information about the area. Detailed information on the different hiking routes starting from the apartment. We are at the guests' disposal to help and solve any unforeseen event that may arise during the stay.

Playasonabia is a Chalet converted into apartments, all of them independent. Located in one of the most spectacular places of the Cantabrian coast. In the middle of the Natural Park of Mountain Candina and "Punta Sonabia", with access in few minutes to the beaches of Sonabia and Oriñon, little frequented, with a golden sand of quality. Very close to small and hidden coves that you can access on foot (12-15 minutes), Where it is not possible to access by vehicle(same Sonabia's beach). Time walking from the apartment: SONABIA BEACH:12 minutes PLAYA ORIÑON:15 minutes CALA PUNTA SONABIA:15 minutes CALA LA BALLENA:15 minutes The apartments have different views of the sea and the mountain, And see the only nesting of the European Union that looks out to sea, with more than 70 pairs of vultures, that nest at its top, where to make bird watching (griffon vulture, Egyptian vultures, peregrine falcon etc ...), being a space protected by the NATURA 2000 network and sponsored by SEO BIRD LIFE, and being able to carry out one of the most impressive treeking routes in the Cantabrian as it is the FAMOUS ROUTE TO THE EYES OF THE DEVIL and others tours of the coast leaving from the door

PLAYASONABIA is located in a very safe and quiet area. It is located in the heart of the PROTECTED NATURAL PARK, between two mountains, Mount Candina and Cerredo and between two magnificent beaches, such as Oriñon and Sonabia, which can be reached in 12 minutes by walking from the apartments. Practice hiking ascending to the famous eyes of the devil to enjoy spectacular and unique views throughout the Cantabrian Coast. ROUTES OF TREEKING CLASSICAL ROUTE TO THE EYES OF THE DEVIL (4 hours). The average summer temperature is 18-20 degrees at night and 22-28 degrees during the day, so you do not need air conditioning.
