Everything!! I loved the hotel, it’s beautifully designed, cozy, quaint,m. You can really unwind and relax. The rooms are modern yet stylish with island appropriate decor. Beds are very comfortable, AC works very well, the pool and pool area is really nice, all quality decor, furnishings, and everything was impeccably clean. I absolutely loved the premises. And then the food! One of the owners is a chef and on certain days offers dinner (it’s a 4 or 5 course menu) and it’s absolutely fantastic (it’s a fine dining experience). And then breakfast prepared by the breakfast chef. Everything is fresh and homemade. Last but not least all the staff is so kind and welcoming. If I’m ever back in Bonaire I will definitely stay there again. Thank you!

The staff was very helpful and accommodating. The location is good and of course the diving operation offers unparalleled freedom. The house reef was worthwhile. The restaurant was tasty and the staff there was super pleasant as well.

It is a nice little city with lovely restaurants and great grocery stores. We found nice shops and fun places to have cocktails by the sea. Luciano's is right across the street from the sea and has wonderful gelato! We had amazing meals at Capriccio (which has a sea view), and C"est La Vie. Bon Tapa has delicious food and and really tasty fresh made sangria. Mona Lisa also served delicious food, but is quite pricey. We love El Pascado for a more budget friendly meal, and Rumba has really great pizza.
The shore diving in Bonaire is really great! We went with Dive Friends for tank rentals a they have multiple locations to pick up and drop off tanks. Some of our favorite dive sites this time were, Torre's reef, Red Slave, Tolo, and Pink beach. All of these also have good snorkeling.
It's definitely busier in town when the cruise ships are in , but they are mostly gone by 5pm. Also, there is a schedule of when and which dock they will arrive at in the local newspaper.

Nice town, always felt safe. Very friendly overall.
Nice town, always felt safe. Very friendly overall. Expensive, but this is to be expected on an island where everything is imported. Cruise ship "tourons" overwhelm downtown during the day when boats are in. Great eating options.

Everything in walking distsnce. We ate at the Trocadero and the Club Boulevard. Fantastic. The service at the Club B was outstanding. David the person serving our table is his weight in gold worth for every restaurant owner. The food fantastic. Also for me as vegetarian. Price vs quality very very good.

Bring your own wash clothes, I felt not fully cleaned.
Bring your own wash clothes, I felt not fully cleaned. You will need a taxi because there is nothing to do but beach in the area. The room 4 I was in was right by the lobby and it was noisy, at night they only serve pizza and it was not good. I would stay closer to the downtown area if I went again because you can walk and do things. The only good thing is if your looking to do nothing, this is the place to stay. My room was supposed to be a deluxe but it wasn't. It was like a dorm room. I couldn't open window because of bugs flying in.

Out of the three islands I found Bonaire the best bargain.
Out of the three islands I found Bonaire the best bargain. Arube is more for a pricy beach vacation, largely for americans. Curacao has a lof or dutch and british party crowd. I found there to be an unpleasant vibe from the locals. Most things are run down.
Bonaire, there is a pleasant vibe, great snorkling all around, and easier to get around by car or scooter.
I loved my stay at the Ocean Breeze! it was such a convenient location, only 3 minutes from the airport, but this does also mean you can hear the planes occasionally - not a big deal though. The staff were wildly helpful! They assisted me in making dinner reservations (it was quite necessary in COVID times), always had towels & always greeted you when you came in. I cannot quite speak to the restaurant as I did not eat there, but I did have a glass of wine and took a quick pool dip. I would stay here again when in Bonaire!
We spent a whole week here and it was an excellent choice. The owners run the place like your own home and that's how you feel there. Fantastic breakfast, nice terrace, always good contact with the owner when you have some questions about island. You can make yourself a coffee whenever you want or use the washing machine. Very good WiFi.
Generally you need a car in Bonaire (there is no public transport), but from here you can walk to restaurants or the beach in 5-10 minutes.
Our stay was nice. We booked 2 weeks before for 2 nights however something went wrong in the system so owner had double booking: on his behalf he organized that we were even picked up at airport and stayed nicely in another hotel for 1 night. Well done!
Second night was good. Decent room on corner of hotel with good bed, aircon, bath room and balcony.
Staff was friendly and helpful. Location is perfect: right at start of city center with supermarket close by.
Very cute and beautifully decorated property, both in the room and all around. Really loved the common space where you can connect with other visitors and share a drink without having to break the bank. The pool it cool too.
Location is just north of Kralendijk, you get walk downtown in around 30 min. Would I stay again? Certainly, but some improvements need to be made.
Our stay at Delfins was wonderful. All of the staff were very kind and welcoming. The room was clean and nice. The staff helped me arrange a cake delivery and decorated our room for my boyfriend’s birthday. The gym on site is amazing if you like working out on vacation. Overall it was a wonderful trip and we wouldn’t hesitate to book again on our next visit to Bonaire.
Very nice hosts who really wanted to help in any way they could. They even gave us a ride to the city centre when we had a flat tyre.
We could always use the yard which was nice and we could enjoy the company of a sweet dog there, named Sky.
We would definitely recommend this accomodation for your holiday at Bonaire.
The hotel is in town. You can get by without a car as there is much happening nearby. The room is OK if not a bit small. Wifi was good. There is not a comfortable chair in the room and no way to make tea or coffee. There is a balcony that has chairs. Bathroom is good. There is daily room cleaning.
great location, 20 min walk to the city center, fantastic hotel reef where you can meet turtles, eagle rays, dolphins and lots of colorful fish, exceptional diving team at Toucan Diving, Lau, Sven and Spider deserve special mention, thank you for unforgettable moments under water and on the boat!
Boris greeted me by name and a smile every time we saw each other. Very helpful. Clean and modern. Good air conditioning and plenty of hot water. Grocery store just around corner to stock kitchenette. Waterfront a 2 minute stroll away for sunsets or water taxi to Klein Bonaire.
You’ve got what you pay for, too expensive for what you get. The only thing that great is the location. Shops like supermarkets are nearby and it is just a few minutes walk to Kralendijk center. Parkings are available at the premises. The staff were friendly and that’s it.
Stayed for the second time in a year. This is a great resort with any facility you can think of in one place. Multiple pools, few restaurants, a bistro, dive shop and fully equipped dive center on site. And not to forget Bonaires largest gym. Will definitely book again!
I like how they had an elevator to the upper floors. Other than that, everything was too commercialized, which is not what you want when you come to a small island like Bonaire. I was able to use a shower room even after check out, so that was convenient.
Excellent room with seperate toilet and shower in a traditional environment. It offers all the advantages from a hotel (fridge, flatscreen, Wi-Fi, airco, microwave etc.)
It is very clean and owner Jacky does everything to make your stay unforgettable!
We had a wonderful stay here. The staff works incredibly hard. We like places that are smaller and quiet so it was perfect. The views make it incredible. The bed was super comfortable with lots of pillows. I would highly recommend this hotel.
We love this Boutique Hotel. Our apartment was very beautiful and comfortable. We also loved that the hotel was surrounded by beautiful plants. It was like an oasis. It was peaceful and very relaxing. Excellent quality for the price.
Our flight had a delay but the hotel staff was very flexible to check us in. The hotel us located in the center of the city and nearby a lot of dining places and bars. The room was super clean and the staff was very kind to us.
Everything was great. Secure grounds, good rooms, hot showers, nice room to hang dive gear. Rene is an awesome host and goes overboard helping guests out. If I ever find myself back in Bonaire I'll definitely stay here.
