Roads and open sewers are terrible. Radcliffe Quay is interesting. Ana's is great location, and reasonable prices. 1st Choice has much variety and deli food is excellent and great value. Difficult getting around St John's due to bad road conditions, with washed out sides, speed bumps and open sewers. You need to know your way around.

This stay was total 11 nights moved from other room for 4-night studio.
All units are privately owned so no two are alike, meaning furnishings and bath and kitchen updates are all different. If I was alone, I would have had to request a step ladder as everything in kitchen was too high up to reach. MICROWAVE in a cabinet above the fridge set back??? ALL in all, decent room a little pricy in my opinion for off season. The staff was very friendly. Location allows you a nice beach walk either direction. A few restaurants nearby. You do need to be aware next to Sandals so it can be a little loud in the afternoon. Many many beautiful beaches would need transportation. Driving is not for the faint of heart.
We did drive in order to experience the Island fully. Oh, and great snorkeling!!

I loved the ambiance it brought, the fresh air you wake up to every morning the calming wave sounds, beautiful landscaping with those tall palm trees made me felt like I'm home away from home especially when the night settles in and the lights come on

Beautiful area. Island can be rough in many areas.
Beautiful area. Island can be rough in many areas. Resort is good for families, with lots of choices for restaurants and bars. Grocer is VERY expensive. Would recommend a golf cart or car for transportation around the resort, as it is very spacious. Resort is dated and needs updating. Each villa is different, so depends on the luck of the draw.

It is just a city, so half a day is enough. Just explore the area around. Good places to eat in the Redcliffe Quay. Also, if you want to safely park a car there is a big parking lot (paid) right there. We tried to park a car on the street but the policeman told us that it is not allowed. Worth visiting the cathedral and the quays. Also, go on a biking/kayaking/ hiking tour organized by company who had an office next to the ice-cream/waffle place at the Redcliffe Quay. Great fun!
Connie's Comfort Suites are perhaps the best hotel in Saint John's. Staff is friendly. Location is not too close to centre of city, but only 15 minutes walking. There are many shops in the neughbourhood, but not too many good restaurants (KFC very close by, but some more fast food restaurants like Mishoo and Jaargie; s). There is noisy traffic in front of the hotel, but in the bed room there is silence at night, so I could sleep well.
This is one of the best resorts I have ever stayed at. The resort was beautiful but the staff was the differentiating factor. Every staff member from the restaurant to the front desk was extremely professional and took the extra effort to make sure my group was being taken care of. Highly recommend Blue Waters resort for anyone looking to enjoy paradise, good food, and amazing service.
The appartment / room we had was really spacious, clean and with great ocean view. When we booked we read that the food was not great but it exceeded our expectations. Also the hotel has a small island in front of the hotel where you can go by canoe or boat (all for free). It is one of the nicest beaches we have seen on Antigua.
110% exceptional. Would tell a friend ,to tell a friend. My family and I are looking forward to staying there again. I told them I want the same 3 rooms when I come back. Access to the beach and pool great. I loved it. Clean beautiful staff friendly The best. 👌🏽
Authentic huts in a lush tropical garden right next to one of the best beaches on the island. Loved the private patio, the private canopy bed on the beach and the outdoor shower. The staff is exeptionally nice and caters to every wish.
All staff were amazing ! very friendly and helpful
Room cleaners exceptional
Reception staff soooo helpful
And the lads sorting the sunbeds and brollies on the beach.......Delroy and Marlon , just perfect, THANK YOU
This is not a 5 star hotel, but it’s OK and we would come back. The room was clean and comfortable and the AC was great. And the breakfast was outstanding. Again, it’s not a fancy place, but we enjoyed our stay.
Everything in apartment is perfect every little detail is taken care of. Kwame is very cooperative and always available for help. He himself drove us around the island . This place is highly recommended.
Staff were obliging and happy. Quiet at this time of year. Food was very good for all inclusive. Accommodation a little tired but had a nice Caribbean feel to the main building.
amazing beach and staff. keyona service is impeccable. the front desk crew were some of the best I ever encountered. shout out to our girl from Trinidad!!
nice quiet area. probably would be best to hire a car if you want to get around the island. Donna the owner is a lovely lady. Annie the housekeeper too.
