The location was great! The room is small, but having a balcony that faces the beach and fortress was the best. The ac unit kept the room cool on very hot days. The curtains made the room dark so we could sleep in during the morning. The old city is on the front door step as is the beach. The common fridge kept our drinking essentials chilled. We were there for 5 days on a budget interrail trip, but this was worth every euro even though it was compact. The staff was very helpful too.

This was my second visit. Spotlessly clean and well maintained throughout. Good breakfast buffet which we ate in the garden area. Room was cleaned and tidied each morning.

The property was amazing , comfortable and clean and quiet and Mary and her staff went above and beyond to help me. They facilitated late check in and early departure and were always on hand to help. I had an amazing experience and would highly recommend Mary’s Hostel to everyone.

They run a lovely vila: calm, clean, well maintained, full of flowers, beautiful views. We stayed just for one night, but it's ideal for longer periods, with a swimming pool, easy access and parking space and close to all the beach towns in the area. Extra points for the nice breakfast in the terrace.
