But an easy walk into the local village of Kizimkazi, or a taxi ride to Jambiani, Paje and other haunts. Hotel owners are gracious and attentive and the staff delightful!

We had an incredible stay at Promised Land Lodge. it is paradise. Nice and chilled and good vibe at the bar. the staff are phenomenal. Definitely coming back again, cannot wait for the next visit. Thank you to everyone at the Lodge. We enjoyed the food, the drinks, the ocean, the service and the Lodge has so many lovely areas to relax with hammocks and loungers and a beautiful pool, lovely hot shower. And badminton court for activities. See you again soon!!

The staff is lovely and helps, wherever they can. They made us (a wonderful) dinner, played us music from Tanzania (we were the only guests and they wanted to show us, what kind of music they listen to). They even offered us to organize a dolphin tour (we saw lots of them). They are still building more houses for guests, I think this is a great project to support. The pool is already finished, so no worries about that :) Breakfast was also great with lots of local fruits and juices. The dog Juma also helps to keep up the relaxed atmosphere (he's very friendly and loves scratches)

The food was excellent and the hospitality from mama root is as if you are at home. All the arrangements for so organized and also the beach is so in front of the property that you will just sit on the beach whole day and still will not be bored.

The owner was super attentive and helped us find a good captain/low price to go swimming with the dolphins. It was only a 5 minute walk on the beach to get to the boats who would take us. Breakfast was lovely, the view was beautiful, the bed was comfy, overall a really lovely stay.
