Casa Paradis is what I would call a rare find, a true gem of a place. It is by far one of the best places I have stayed in, for all the possible reasons: the design which takes you straight to 1001 Nights, the lovely owners who will immediately make you feel like home, the heavenly food, the pool and beach area, quiet location and so much more. The whole atmosphere is unique and gives you an otherworldly feeling, watching the lovely views at low tide and local people going about their daily grinds on the beach. Cleanliness is top notch, I loved the barefoot policy which just comes to show how well the place is maintained. Attention is paid to the smallest of details, from decorations and fresh daily flowers in rooms and bathrooms, to the restaurant where chef Denisa prepares breathtaking dishes, with the menu changing on a daily basis. Dinners at Casa Paradis are a must, as are cocktails enjoyed on the rooftop terrace at sunset. We cannot wait to be back! Thank you, Denisa and Valentin, for a making our stay special and for offering us an incredible home away from home.

Villa Juliana is a coastal gem located on the pristine shores of Jambiani, Zanzibar. At our beachfront villas, authenticity meets modern comfort, and luxury embraces nature and sustainabilty. I loved everything, the location right on the beach, the wonderful staff who can’t do enough to make your stay special, the very high standards of service and the finish of the property itself (definitely a reflection of the Swiss owners), the pool. I will definitely be back soon!

I love everything about this place. I called it the hidden spot of Jambiani. The staff was very courteous and kind. They allowed me to check out late because i had a late flight which i really appreciated. The hotel directly faces the beach and it also has a swimming pool in case you are tired of the beach. The room was really spacious, clean, equipped with amenities and had a sea view. I highly recommend theSpot to travelers of all kinds. Cannot miss this.

Sailing in dhows available. Local caves etc excursions. Children interestingly segregated. Small place so few other people there. Nice friedly comfortable atmosphere. You can be left alone if desired. Transport available. Uncrowded Beach. Virtually no hype on beach. Efficient frequent housekeeping. A wonderful surprize If you don't like the dinner there is a homey little local eatery behind the cottages. Just check it out.

Having stayed here for 9 nights I can't thank enough the Blue Oyster staff. They here frendly, allways with a smile and make you feel like at home. Right in front of the beach, with a stunning view, we used to eat great breakfasts or just lying down on a confortable beech chair. This was the right choice for our stay in Zanzibar.
