Sofitel Kia Ora Moorea Beach Resort is located on a picturesque white sand beach, and features spectacular views of the crystal lagoon and the iconic silhouette of Tahiti Island.
The Sofitel was very nice. We rented a bungalow for two nights. We loved being able to go snorkel right from our deck. The beach area the Sofitel is located on is the best whhite sand beach on the island. The coral reef preservation in that area is wonderful and so many fish to see. Don't hesitate to splurge on a few nights here. We did not eat much at the hotels restaurants. Breakfast was a very good spread. We choose to drive to local resturants all over the area for other meals.

Brand new, clean, safe, quiet and friendly staff. The location is great and I would recommend this hotel if you are looking for a hotel in Papeete. The hotel is on a big street which is for safety reasons a plus.

It is on the nicest beach on the island with great snorkeling and still rather remote so not a lot of people. I recommend the beach front cabin but all are nice and right on the beach basically. The rooms super comfy and a/c good. You can make your shower open air if you like and all rooms have a little deck. So much nature and good snorkeling right in your back yard.
