Truly Special Retreat Our stay at Mharo Khet was an experience we’ll never forget. From the moment we arrived, there was a sense of calm and stillness that made us feel instantly at ease — it’s the kind of place that gently slows you down and lets you reconnect with yourself. The spaces are beautifully thought through — elegant, earthy, and in perfect harmony with the farm around them. The little design touches stood out to us: handmade rugs, pottery, mother-of-pearl inlaid tables, and open decks with rocking chairs where you can sit and watch the colors of dawn and dusk unfold. Everything felt authentic and personal, never overdone, and yet so comfortable. What made it even more special were the experiences woven into daily life here — like starting the morning with a soothing champi (head massage), or trying our hand at weaving a traditional charpoy with the team. These small, thoughtful touches brought us closer to the spirit of the place. And the food… absolutely unforgettable. Each meal felt like a celebration of the farm — inventive, fresh, and full of flavor. Dining here is not just eating, it’s a journey that lingers with you. Overall our experience was great and I’m so happy we chose Mharo Khet for our getaway. I can’t wait to be back to immerse in their experiences and soak in the culture they offer.

This is the most exquisitely renovated traditional house, now a boutique hotel with two bedrooms. The love and attention to detail that went into the building, as well as how it is run on a day to day basis make this a very special place to stay. Vinod is the consumate host, a perfect manager and wonderful person. His passion for the property is evident in every little thing he does. The owner's kindness to us when our travel plans were thrown into disarray at the last minute was incredible, and much appreciated. I can't wait to go back!

Tirthan Valley is truly peaceful and full of natural beauty. The place we stayed at was a hidden gem — surrounded by trees, mountains, and the sound of the river. So calm and relaxing. The property manager was very kind and welcoming, and the staff was lovely too. Special thanks to Mr Rakesh, for his warm hospitality and care. The property was beautiful and very clean, and the location is just perfect. We felt right at home. The food was homely and very tasty — made with love. Everything was fresh and comforting. The views are amazing and We loved our time here and will definitely visit again. Thank you for everything!

Fabulous new Hotel, immaculately clean,good location away from the main road nice and quiet natural surroundings , alongside a stream. Nice restaurant with excellent food great chef. Wonderful host, lovely family run hotel. Would love to stay again. Fabulous

I recently visited a vegetarian boutique property by Jomotel group. Being a strict vegetarian i'm always concerned about whether the property takes due care of the needs. It was a very comfortable stay with greenery in the midst of an orchard overlooking a picturesque valley view. The staff closely looked after my needs taking care of every small details. The rooms are cosy, beautiful with wooden and stone work and the views fromt he room itself is breathtaking. I would highly recommend this place for people who want spme peace & quiet from the hustle bustle of the city life.

Embarance locality facilities and staff

The Palace is amazing. Our lake view room was fantastic. The very well priced massage was great, the swimming pool is also great. AND the bars are absolutely incredible.
