I stayed here with my sister. The place is beautiful, perched above the village of Challapampa overlooking the lake. We spent the whole day sitting on our balcony in the sun, just relaxing. The addition of a kettle and tea in the room was much appreciated. Despite us not speaking much spanish, we communicated with the owners via WhatsApp and they were so helpful and provided recommendations. Breakfast is delivered to your room. There's a beach you can reach and we went swimming even though it was cold. Would highly recommend for a relaxing night on Isla del Sol. Having stayed another night in the south, we much preferred the north!

The environment is beautiful and restful and the food served for breakfast and in the restaurant is very fresh and good. An extra plus for the pool area where you can sunbathe and swim overlooking the valley.

Nice room, friendly and helpful staff, good location with nice restaurants about 10-15 minutes walking distance, taxi office across the street to book taxi which is necessary to book if you go on tours as you have to get to the centre of La Paz via taxi to the pick up point, about 10-15 minutes to the teleferico. The breakfast buffet has good variety of sweets, bread, fruits, juices which changes every day and you can order scramble eggs included in breakfast.

It was very relaxing to be there, nice ambience and a very friendly owner, Margarita. She spoke impeccable English, which was great for me as my spanish is non-existent. There was also a pizzeria in the house, which was convenient for having dinner.
