Regatta is nicely and tastefully decorated. The rooms are nice and clean with clean beautiful bathroom. The property provides nice breakfast and supply of water, juice and yogurt. The staff is very tentative in making sure we have a great stay. They upgraded my room at no extra cost as my travel plans changed from a single person to include my daughter. The location can not be more convenient so close to town

Lisa is very professional and courteous. We have employees working on Nantucket that need a place to stay overnight. We've always been able to get a room even last minute when the ferries are cancelled due to weather.

The location was wonderful as were the details of service. The raffle for the BMW X7 was terrific. We won four hours and drove everywhere. The rooms were a real surprise. It feels more like a home than a hotel. The half bath along with a full bath was great for my wife to get ready.

We walked a LOT around town and the historical homes of Nantucket, which was good for us. Anyone with instability or bad joints would not enjoy the walking. We didn't have time to see more of the island and didn't know exactly where to go or how to get there. It was COOL and windy in late April. We liked our cottage at the boat basin.

A very special island off the coast of New England.
A very special island off the coast of New England. More than 60% is land trust and the rest is super expensive beautiful 19th century homes. There is plenty to do such as swimming, surfing, hiking, and biking. The shoulder season i.e. May, June, September, and October is magnificent and a good value. There are nice B&Bs in historic houses as well as hotels. There is a nice variety of excellent restaurants. A good candidate for your bucket list.

Nantucket is a great place to spend a day or a week.
Nantucket is a great place to spend a day or a week. There are many great places to dine or have a drink. We didn't go to the beach this time but we have in the past and they're beautiful. If you're on a tight budget you may want to find another option or just go for the day.

This was our first trip to Nantucket (even though I'm from New England!). We explored the island by bike. There are dedicated bike paths but not everywhere so you do end up riding on the tar road. Island traffic seems to be used to bikers, though; they even stop for you when they don't have to according to traffic laws: better safe than sorry but a bit annoying for experienced street bikers (we live in the Netherlands). Beware of biking routes (via Google) that send you via Main Street — this is full of old-fashioned cobblestones that cannot be ridden with a bike!
Being an island, many restaurants are quite expensive, but not all of them are worth the money. We particularly enjoyed the Nantucket Tap Room and Ventuno. or, The Whale is popular but the tin ceiling plus music plus limited menu with no subs is frustrating... and breakfast places that offer 'standard' fare are hard to find. There's a surprisingly large Stop 'n Shop in the harbor as well as on the other side of town.
We stayed Mon-Fri, which was enough time to see the entire island by bike. We biked to the Cisco Brewery but the tour is $20pp so that explains why some bikers have to be picked up instead of biking back to the harbor!

We took the "slow ferry", no car.
We took the "slow ferry", no car. We booked a van tour with Gail's Tours for the first afternoon. She hit the highlights of her island, providing an entertaining narrative of the island's history and inhabitants. We found plenty of things to do and see within walking distance of our hotel. The Whaling Museum was a recommended stop that I'm glad we saw. Just walking through the village was wonderful. So much history! One day we took the bus to Sconset, did the Bluff Walk, and took a walking tour with Rick through the village of historic homes. If we were here longer than our 3 days we would have liked to explore more of the island outside the main town. It was recommended to get dinner reservations, which we neglected to do. So, after the first day, we booked dinners for the rest of the trip. We ate at the Tap Room (sea bass was excellent!), the Sea Grille (blackened tuna was terrific) and Brotherhood of Thieves (clam chowder--best we've had!) We traveled in the shoulder season and avoided the crowds, but missed out on the places that weren't open yet. We traveled pre-Memorial Day, the weather was on the cool and windy side, so we never got to the beaches. Next time!

The island and town were beautiful.
The island and town were beautiful. Easily could walk to restaurants an museum's. Plenty of public transporration.it is new England quaintness defined. WE VISITED late September still busy but not crowded.Dinner reservations easy to get. Lots of easy bike paths. We will visit again.
This place is wonderful. It exceeded our expectations. The continental breakfasts were wonderful. The rooms were perfect and clean. We were really impressed with the staff--especially the manager. He knew so much about the Island and happenings around town. Plus he was so willing to share this will us! There is a lovely area out back of the hotel where you can sit and chat with friends. This hotel is less than a 3 minute walk from town. We were more than pleased with our selection to stay at 76 Main Street.
Breakfast was provided on site and had indoor and outdoor seating options. The food was served to order and as a result was fresh and hot. Coffee, tea and other drinks were available all day. They also had afternoon snacks available which were fresh and tasty. The staff were very helpful and friendly. What a treat from people that had a busy summer and were still kind at the end of the season We lucked into staying at this inn for our first trip to Nantucket. Will definitely book with Union Street Inn again
There was no breakfast except delicious espresso/ lattes and amazing pastries for purchase in the lobby. ( off season) It’s very clean and very quality decor. Comfortable bed. Helpful staff and friendly. The restaurant with outdoor porch/courtyard seating is great summer scene. Adorable vibe. Super location in the heart of town. Walk from the ferry. Quintessential ACK charming and high end but small and “cozy”
The staff was exceptionally friendly. We were able to store our luggage at the hotel while we walked around Nantucket and waiting to check in. We were also able to get breakfast at the hotel while waiting to check in. They were also able to check us in earlier than the 4 o’clock check-in time. The rooms were clean. I do a lot of traveling and I have to say this is one of the best stays I’ve had.
Such a comfortable, traditional place in a superb location right in town. Our stay was charming, from our host greeting us with homemade bickies to the softest sheets and fluffiest towels to the delightful little reading nooks placed here and there. Breakfast was delicious and served at a communal table where the company was excellent. The beds were really comfy too.
I am sorry to say that the only thing that went well on my stay at this property was the accommodation manager allowing us to cancel our stay and move hotel, but we were charged the full price for one night. This property is not priced correctly, extremely draughty, inadequate heating, shower is like a dripping tap with zero power. Please think twice.
The staff were very friendly and helpful. The bed was comfortable and the king deluxe was a nice size room. the hotel puts out cute little breakfast bites in the mornings with coffee. nice outdoor patio to relax. great location it’s right in town and a quick walk to shops and cafes etc.
One of the best hotels I’ve stayed at, I personally love supporting local businesses and Nate was a phenomenal host very friendly and personable the breakfast setup was perfect light and refreshing definitely recommend to anyone looking for a hotel within walking distance of town!
Everything about this property was wonderful! The hotel, the property, the room and the staff were exceptional. Alicia, the manager was so helpful and always willing to help with a pleasant smile on her face! I will go back every time!
The hotel is absolutely stunning, with fantastic facilities and amenities. The staff are absolutely incredible, and everyone was so helpful. Specifically, Devan at the front desk helped us out a lot.
beautifully decorated historic inn. authentic Nantucket. great breakfast spread! awesome staff. the inn owner was so sweet and had so much knowledge of Nantucket history.
Great hotel in every way! New, clean, awesome staff, free use of bikes, easy walking distance to town and Brant Point lighthouse. Fire pit was so nice after dinner.
