We stayed in the river view suite; the view was wonderful, the room was clean and we were very happy with the space. The fireplace was a wonderful touch and we loved the balcony. The beds are super comfy, which is important to us since we both have back issues; we slept very well. Access to our car was quick and easy, and we LOVE the rock pathway walls. The grounds are just lovely and we enjoyed exploring the property to the West, especially overlooking the river. Overall just a great stay as always, and we WILL be back every time we travel through the area. In fact, we've already booked a stay for this fall.
Featuring panoramic views of the mountain and the Columbia River Gorge, these accommodations are located on the edge of a 210-ft cliff. Plush bathrobes and free Wi-Fi are provided in all rooms.

Super nice room and modern, comfortable. We had a unit with a little fireplace and a great view of the river. The garden and waterfall next door at the Columbia Gorge Hotel is beautiful

The staff/owners were so friendly that it made us feel right at home. The room was very nice and the bed was comfortable. It was within walking distance of downtown. We wish we had more time to explore the area.
Only a 2-minute drive from I-84, this motel is a mile from the Mt Hood Railroad and Dinner Train and the Skylight Theater. Its rooms include flat-screen TVs.

This is a basic, independent, small town motel. The rooms were quiet. The rooms were not spacious, but there was ample space to move around. The bathroom was relatively large, and had been recently and nicely renovated. There were the usual amenities - fridge, flat-screen tv, dresser, closet, iron. The location is convenient for freeway access, but NOT for walking through the historical downtown of Hood River, which is a couple of miles away. Hood River is a lovely town to visit for quirky shops and restaurants.
Inn at the Gorge in Hood River provides accommodations with a garden, a terrace, and a shared lounge. A hot tub is available for guests.

We liked the creative use of space, the room was very comfortable. And the message was very good. My wife and I will definitely be getting another message from the mesuse.

Could hear water running from upstairs room, made me think the toilet was running but it wasn't. There wasn't enough coffee and no breakfast at all. Only the expensive river view rooms are "pet friendly". The grounds were beautiful, lot's of walking paths and little niches. Room was clean and comfortable, not overly large. Deck was nice.

Unknown, to me, there was a big convention Iin town, so the hotel prices were jacked up, almost double, than it should have been.
Besides that, Hood River was great.
Bend, Oregon, I prefer over Hood River.

Beautiful views of the Columbia River Gorge!
Beautiful views of the Columbia River Gorge! Worth a trip across the bridge to White Salmon, Washington which is the Supernatural Capital of the Pacific Northwest! You can drive west along the river to cross back at the Bridge of the Gods where Charles Lindbergh flew his plane below the bridge. Fun to see the amphibious biplane at the harbor and the salmon fishing. Mount Hood and vineyards nearby. Loved Grateful Vineyard about 20 minutes out of town, with orchards and vines and great pizza with a view of Mount Hood. The Stone Hedge Garden restaurant has beautiful outdoor gardens, a historic house setting and delicious food. We drove all the way back from Portland to dine there a second time on the last night of our trip. We are seasoned travelers and loved this place.

Hood River is an old town and in the past few years has become known for kiteboarding, wind-sailing, etc. There are lots of pubs and breweries. There are hiking trails, vineyards, wineries, lavender fields, and orchards all within a few miles. Downtown has many shops to visit. Many places are dog friendly.

We stayed one night to go fishing at Drano Lake the next day. The room isn't anything special with the usual amenities with nice comfortable beds. I do not recommend staying with children as the walls are quite thin and you can hear everything. Customer service is not existent with mediocre check-in process.

Fabulous little town. Great restaurants, breweries, shopping. Outdoor enthusiasts: skiing, water sports, hiking, biking.
Hood River Hotel : rooms a little funky but hey if you want an authentic old hotel experience this is the place, lovely foyer w/ fire place to cozy up, restaurant . And best part right on Main Street w/ easy access to most everything
Convenient location, about 10-15 minutes' walk from downtown Hood River. Room was fairly basic, but clean and comfortable and had what we needed (bed, bathroom with tub/ and a decent over-the- tub shower, fridge and microwave). The person at check in was friendly and able to help with an issue with light bulbs (they'd come loose, but easily fixed). Not there long enough to take advantage of pool/tub. Worked well for an overnight stay.
Location overlooking the Columbia River was wonderful. Unfortunately, we didn't have a river-view room, but that was fine. There are lovely gardens connecting Columbia Cliff Villas with the neighboring grand Columbia Gorge Hotel, which guests are invited to visit and explore. Plenty of scenic viewpoints. It's a peaceful spot, but just 5 minutes by car from downtown Hood River.
Front desk staff was really friendly and nice while the cleaning did a great job cleaning the public areas to be spotless (which is rare in hotels) and the room was clean as well. So appreciated! Also I loved the night cookies! They allow dogs and cats and I didn't hear a dog the whole time! Breakfast was also really extensive and complete.
Our room had partial views of the Columbia River. There is a short walk trail along the cliff in front of the hotel which offers lovely views. Room was comfortable and clean. Pub next door but 5 minutes drive into town for everything else. Reception staff very friendly
The amenities at this hotel are amazing!!! Beyond what we expected! Dining with exceptional views of the water and swimming at the river's edge in the hotel's pool was incredible. No other hotel in Hood River can top the ambiance surrounding this hotel.
The Hotel was great, the staff were friendly and helpful even opening the bar on the evening (4th July) when everywhere else was shut. There were a group of us staying there that were going on to a wedding later in Portland.
the location and the very good staff. Michael the owner cooked a fantastic breakfast for us with everything you could want, all included in price. he also recommended things to do while we were in Hood river.
Despite the roaring winds of Hood River the room was quiet and we never heard a peep from other guests. The beds, pillows and linens were extra comfortable. Exceeded our expectations.
Outstanding gardens and property. The baby ducks were so cute! The history of this hotel is very interesting. Lots to do in Hood River. The Hood River Railway trip is a must!
The location of this property was excellent for enjoying Hood River's downtown shopping and wine tasting on foot. Everything you need is in an easy walk from the home.
Nice room but a little tight with beds and desk with chair barely able to squeeze in! Could walk to downtown from there. Grocery store right across from hotel.
