I am reaching out after days of back and forth with Booking.com customer service and then essentially not hearing back since 4/10/2024, aside from asking me to rate your customer service.
I originally tried to make a reservation at the Hampton Inn & Suites in Chapel Hill/Carrboro NC through the hotel itself, however they had no available rooms under the wedding block and I was referred to use booking.com or orbitz, etc. I went with booking.com.
I made my reservation for 4/12/24 through 4/14/24 for 2 nights for the total of $732.00 Booking # 4031391120 Pin # 2386. Prior to my arrival, I was notified that the hotel had available rooms under the wedding block. I called and requested a cancellation. An email was sent to the hotel. I confirmed with Enrique, hotel manager that the hotel agreed to cancelled the reservation and grant Booking.com the approval to refund my $732.00. It is weeks later and I have not yet received my refund. Now, I have paid not only for the wedding block rate of $451 and I am still out the $732.00. I would appreciate the refund ASAP or I will seek further action. I can be reached by phone at 1-973-800-0176 or my email at tracyhornik@yahoo.com.

Chapel Hill is excellent but recommend you do not stay in Courtyard by Marriott due to rude poor service provided by front desk. Costed us more than the booking rate due to front desk clerk changing the reservation at check in. No service recovery offered by manager

My biggest problem was someone pulled the fire alarm at 4o'clock in the morning, and the hotel didn't adjust the bill to reflect the loss of sleep, or even offer an explanation. The only time it was mentioned was when I bought it up.

Check out the Rizzo Center!
Check out the Rizzo Center! It combines the charm of a bygone era with comfirtable modern amenities. Take a walk on the grounds and enjoy spectacular flower gardens, mature trees, and brick walking paths.
I booked this trip for my husband and me as a Valentine's gift, and he loved it, commenting several times on how impressed he was with the hotel, service, food, and staff.

Chapel Hill is a beautiful university city.
Chapel Hill is a beautiful university city. It's a wonderful place to walk and gaze at the UNC-Chapel Hill campus (oldest school in the country). Some fun places to eat, I tried a Mediterranean place on Franklin street. The city has a really nice vibe and atmosphere. Easy to get around on the free city buses. Disadvantage is that it's on the expensive side and requires some planning. Although the RDU airport serves all three major cities in the area it's mainly car based so you'll probably end up getting a rental.

I came to help my dad move into the new Azalea Estates retirement community and had a great time visiting Chapel Hill. Folks are friendly and helpful. Lots of great restaurants, campus has so much to offer-I particularly enjoyed the Auckland Art Museum.
Ate ate The Rise, Luna, 410, Carrboritos, Al’s Hamburgers and also bought food at Weaver Street Market and Harris Teeters to fix meals in my room. And when I missed my cats I went to the Cat Cafe on Franklin Street -had a great time.

Chapel Hill is a beautifully manicured city with that quaint southern touch. Being there makes you want to walk around to get a better view of everything. The university is awesome in person and reputation. A tour of the facilities is a must.
I’m a Kenan-Flagler graduate (24 years ago) and did not know the Rizzo Center was a Kenan Flagler conference center so I was delighted to see the Kenan-Flagler logo as soon as I walked in the foyer. Beyond that, I didn’t know what to expect from a university-affiliated hotel. I was happy to see that it was a true 4-star Hyatt experience. I got a reasonable room rate. I will be returning! Breakfast was very good. Far better than any other complimentary breakfast I’ve had a hotel!
The Hotel Was Amazing Unfortunately There Was No Wifi or Breakfast for our stay. But the staff was super helpful🙏🙏🙏. Everything Was Made Up By The Accommodation From The Staff!! I Will Be Back Here Or Recommend Anyone That Travels To Chapel Hill!🫶
The hotel is beautiful, but not too big. The rooms are ultra stylish. It has a beautiful pool and fitness room. I arrived late in the evening but the staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Hot tea was available which was just perfect for me.
The property was very clean and well-maintained. Very close to downtown everything was within walking distance. The staff was extremely accommodating and friendly. Will definitely stay there again when we visit Chapel Hill. Highly recommend it
I like the lobby. I think is nice and works well to work there or relax with friends.
I like the location, although I think when I came at midnight that and it’s no q allnthink is near enough to chapel hill. Iizuka000” you
We had dinner there and the service was great. The food was fantastic.
We had to be at the hospital early the next morning, UNC Chapel Hill Campus, they had our car at the front door at 6 am for us, which helped a lot.
This is the third time I've stayed here. The location is one of the most convenient for both chapel hill and carrboro. The hotel is well kept up, and also quiet. I was impressed by the water pressure in the shower.
Excellent staff
New hotel equipment and it shows (july 23)
I've never see a hotel room cleaner than this
We were late for breakfast and the staff went above and beyond and arranged breakfast for us
The Graduate is always a favorite when in Chapel Hill. Location is great. Coffee in the am is perfect. Staff if always friendly and helpful. Just a fun place to stay when visiting a college campus.
SUPERB hotel and gorgeous grounds!! Enjoyed my morning walks. Super convenient to all things UNC and Chapel Hill. Located in beautiful neighborhood. Updated room and super comfy.
Employees were extremely nice. Would have enjoyed more food choices in hotel but there was a nice restaurant with delicious food, as well as Panera and Chipotle next door.
I love the price for my family to come for my sons Chapel Hill graduation. It was located close enough for us to travel back-and-forth for all the festivities.
