The place was clean. The room was comfy, the staff was very friendly. I also liked the patio area that you had your own like smoking area. The breakfast was pretty good for a continental breakfast. We loved the cute shops in the area and the amazing forests. We did some smoke homes which were refreshing. We drove to Fairhaven for the day which was very pleasant. In bellingham, I recommend visiting the mindport exhibit. We brought our son and had a great time.

We were pleasantly surprised at the vibrancy of the city and how much there is to see and do! What a great city! We had a wonderful dinner at Storia Cucina and met the talented head chef, Helen who came over to say hello, which made our evening. And next door at Red Light we got one of the best cocktails we’ve had in a long time. All the people we encountered were down kind and down to earth. Hope to be back soon.

Bellingham is a smallish, funky and cute town with 19th century beginnings. It has a lot of character and is surrounded by a lot of natural beauty. I would like to go again and enjoy the lake and the sound, hiking and other scenic areas. There are good restaurants and parks around the city for walking. It is very bicycle friendly and pet friendly, and the people seem really nice and laid back.

Close to downtown and super close to freeway and grocery store. When I was growing up in Bellingham, this area was "sketchy“. Now it’s really up and coming and not bad at all. The front desk man was really friendly and personable. We chatted for an extra ten min at check in and he was really helpful getting us an personal cab driver who was SUPER quick and cheaper than a normal cab or Uber. Really good value for the price. Especially in Bellingham (these days). Also a pretty big fridge for a motel.

Hotel location is perfect for visiting small towns and hiking in the Bellingham area; there is plenty of onsite parking; breakfast included has enough variety both for adults and kids; Starbucks is just across the parking lot, so you can walk there if you don't like the coffee served at the hotel; The indoor pool and the hot tub are of a decent size. The room and the hotel in general is very clean. Receptionists and other hotel staff are kind and made us feel welcomed!

I read the reviews of all the other hotels and motels in the area and this was the only one that didn’t have any negative reviews. I actually canceled another reservation to stay here instead. You could tell this was an older motel, but it clearly has been updated and we were very pleased with our stay. The room was clean, staff were friendly, there was free waffles for breakfast and it was also the cheapest hotel in the area. I would 100% stay here again.

The hotel is right downtown and in a great part of Bellingham, the historic Columbia neighborhood adjacent to the Fountain District. They both have awesome food options and great craft breweries. The downtown core is only a mile walk or bike, about 20 mins or a really quick Uber ride, there you will find an abundant amount of fantastic restaurants, breweries, local shops, and on Saturday the outdoor farmers market.

Large clean rooms. Windows that open. Super friendly bartenders. Pet friendly. Right in the middle of downtown. Walking distance to the farmer’s market, lots of brew pubs, the waterfront boardwalk, and more. We stayed on the first floor. Just FYI for those who care, stairs are required to get to these rooms. Also, they do provide ear plugs because there is plenty of night life in the area.

It's your basic, older, low budget hotel. I just needed a room for one night. Given the current inflated prices for rooms in Bellingham, it was a decent option. The plumbing is old, and the hotel is a little tired overall. Given the pace of construction locally, I expect it won't be around much longer. Again, it's more than adequate, but don't expect a luxury experience.

Close to downtown with plenty of parking. Room was clean and front desk was very friendly. For the price, this motel is a great deal. No frills and a few things out of order, but for the price and the point that the room was clean especially the bathroom, I can't complain about that! This motel lets you save your money to spend in Bellingham on amazing food or shopping!

Breakfast, in our room, was warm and delicious. The location is is very nice and it’s a pleasure to walk around the property. The room was clean. It was cold for the last couple of days so the fire place was a welcome addition. This was our third time in the hotel and we will definitely come back. This is our favorite hotel in the Bellingham area.
