Avila La Fonda is a true gem on the West Coast. From the moment we arrived to the moment we reluctantly checked out, we were enveloped in a haven of comfort and warm hospitality. The accommodations at Avila La Fonda were fabulous. Our suite was beautifully decorated and the complimentary wine and delicious homemade pie created an inviting and cozy atmosphere that made it difficult to leave. I wholeheartedly recommend this lovely hotel to anyone seeking a memorable and rejuvenating getaway. The location was two short blocks from the beach and boardwalk. The most unique aspect of the hotel was the hospitality. The staff serves freshly baked croissants and coffee in the morning, an afternoon snack, then wine and appetizers, then pie and ice cream after dinner. All the treats were wonderful. It was like being in a resort or resort town with Avila beach being so close. Having the dog beach so close by too was fantastic! My dog had the vacation she deserves! The cottage had a wonderful view and great outdoor space. Spacious and clean! Glamping at its finest! I can’t wait to go back!
