There's a supermarket downstairs and very close to the lake. Just outside of reception up the stone staircase across the road takes you to the lake.

Unique building in a great location below the Tatras mountains. If you're a fan of modern architecture, you should visit! The room was excellent with views - I went at a quiet time so was lucky to receive an upgrade. Comfortable bed and the bathroom well equipped. The breakfast was good too. Also, if you enjoy wintersports / hiking, then Štrbské Pleso is q good destination and a bit different too. Highly recommend.
