The incredible history, beauty , food, people. It may be a long way to get to. It takes more effort than other parts of Sicily. In particular if you don’t want to drive. Do your research about best bus / train routes. Go with one of the big coach com companies. Don’t do by public transport. It will take you forever! It’s worth it once you get there. The scenery on the bus route is stunning also.
It’s like a film set. The beauty every where. The history is mind blowing.
As a solo female traveler, I felt completely safe and comfortable at all times.

This is a very small village in Sicily but it has a lot to offer. Especially the food. In my opinion, this is one of the best villages in Sicily for food. We had the opportunity to eat at 3 different restaurants:
- Buki Buki - ideal for a snack, both the pasta and burger was very good
- My Name is Tannino - a small restaurant over the bridge with fine food which is divine and the staff are very charismatic.
- Busacca - My husband order fish pasta which was good and I took a pizza which was exceptional.

You need a guidebook as there doesn't seem to be any tourist information available.
Some wonderful churches, especially San Bartolomeo. Just wandering around the streets is enjoyable but one day is ample. Suggest a day trip from Noto or Ragusa would suffice as train station is a short walk from the historic centre. A map is required before a visit.

A great place with the history of Baroque mixed with Montalbano twists. Loved it, but three days with a hire car was not enough. You could happily go on foot everywhere and see Scilcli (Shiiiglee was the way we were told to pronounce it). The people were so friendly, happy to chat and take time to pass the time of day even with our lack of Italian. A few choice phrases, hand gestures and smiles go a long way.

Great seafood restaurants -Tre Colli and Caffe Sicilia were favourites. Fascinating buildings and good for local strolls - locals came out in crowds for the lively outdoor bars and cafes especially at weekends. Good traffic free public spaces.
The narrow streets not designed for modern traffic meant there were elaborate and complex one way systems and very narrow streets - definitely the place for a Fiat 500 or other small car.

Great city with many splendid Baroque buildings .
Great city with many splendid Baroque buildings . Charming both day and evening with great dining opportunities. Felt really safe with lots of people about without being crowded. Poor public transport connections on a Sunday was only drawback. I could quite easily live there!
Perfect location, friendly host trying to be most helpful. Very very clean.Nice kitchen. Welcome fruit, water, and other drinks in the fridge. Huge bathroom with fresh and soft towels. Big rooms with interesting decor. Easy to find a parking spot. Many very good restaurants and bars nearby. Del Ponte Pizzeria must be visit. Both bars at the end of the street also. The Caffeshop at the central square is very good. Scicli is a gem.
Every aspect of our stay was exceptional. Samuela met us at an easy to find spot in Scicli, then took us to the apartment, explained everything about it, then gave us great advice on food, walks, and, most importantly, gelato. She checked with us a few times to make sure everything was going well. The apartment was immaculate, well equipped, and in the perfect location.
We liked the larger than usual rooms, the patio and the pool; the peaceful location and the nearby town of Scicli and Sampieri, which are a short drive away from the masseria.
I would like to thank Vincenzo for his useful tips and for allowing us to check out at a later time than we were supposed to, at no extra charge.
Highly recommended!
The house is wonderful and has everything you need. We felt so well during our 4 days stay.
Scicli the town nearby is very nice and the beach of Donnalucata beautiful.
Stefania the host is very kind, welcoming and eager to give advice about places and restaurants.
We highly recommend it. So, don't hesitate, just book it; you will love it.
The property is located in a quite area in the old part of the city. Rooms are cozy and stylish. There is a good breakfast served in the room. Free street parking is possible.
Hosts are really kind, helpful and always smiling!
Strongly recommend Casa Di Pam :)
Overall Scicli is a nice place to stay while exploring this part of Sicily.
This is a beautiful house which is perfect for a family holiday. The house has with everything we needed including a nice garden and a beautiful swimming pool. The host is extremely kind and always available, if needed. The location is perfect because is less than 10 min away from the beach and from the wonderful town of Scicli.
Loredana is super nice lady who lives two doors down in a small alleyway 10min walk form Scicli town centre.
Location is perfect with easy parking on the main road - very convenient for both short and long stays
Rustic setting nicely decorated, it was spotless and also had coffee for breakfast! :)
Would definitely recommend!
We enjoyed the stylish room, perfect location, hot shower, good coffee machine and terrace. Ignazio was able to open the front door remotely so we could collect the key card that works for both the front door and room, and in advance he gave us useful Scicli parking tips. We extended our stay another night.
Magnificent residence. The place is modern, safe and comfortable. It is surrounded with beautiful greenery and olive trees. The location is also 4 minutes away from Scicli. Carmelo and Laura were super friendly and they thoroughly ensured that our stay was a pleasant one.
The Palazzo was the highlight of our three weeks in Sicily. Eva went above and beyond, so generous with her time, expertise and enthusiasm. The property is magnificent, with the perfect location, beautiful setting and quiet neighborhood.
Wonderful location, our room was in an historical palace, nicely decorated, with balcony and nice view. Everybody was friendly and welcoming. Definitely recommend this accommodation for visiting Scicli.
Gorgeous views and located in the historic part of Scicli. Apartment is so cute, completely updated with all amenities you would need. We loved our time there.
