We had the bad luck that we arrived at the very day of the spring opening. The room, where there is only one comfy chair (!) was very cold. It took quite some time to solve this problem for us and several other guests. And using the sauna to warm up was not an option since they charge you 30 Euro per person to visit the spa. The place itself is however beautiful and build at an exceptional location under very modern architecture. The large and more or less private beach is right in front of the hotel and looks very inviting on warm days.

We had a lovely sunny evening at the monastery and enjoyed a drink and later a meal at the restaurant. The pilgrims menu was excellent value for money with both a fish meat and vegetarian choices.
Unfortunately the next morning the weather had changed and Muxia in a cool mist was not at its best.
