The atmosphere inside and outside is really nice. I liked the style (picture and color) in the room, the four windows going towards the river and landscape. The "help yourself to drinks" downstairs, the breakfast, also the facility to sit and have your drink outside or in the comfortable terrace under a roof. We had two single beds which you could leave together or pull apart (I found mine a little small, but for my friend it was just right). The half hour walk along the Vecht to aperitif and dinner is beautiful.

Our stay at House of Cocagne was exceptional. The owners were incredibly friendly and helpful, even offering to pick us up from the train station. The location is perfect, offering both convenience and tranquility. Highly recommended for a memorable getaway.

What an absolute delight, beautiful and peaceful accomodation with a host who was so considerate. We had a car and the parking and access was easy. The host kindly provided excellent details on transport into Amsterdam and Utrecht for us and for local sights and bikes to hire. Beautiful surroundings and perfectly peaceful. The owner lives nearby and is super friendly and helpful. Brand new studio apartment, modern facilities, complete kitchen. I can only imagine sitting on the covered terrace, looking at the lake and the lights on the opposite side, on a warm summer evening...the weather was cold and very windy during my visit in April but the view was still beautiful. I wish I could have stayed for more than one night.
