This guided, narrated tour will allow you to take a step back in time and follow along the Pony Express Trail to Virginia City, where the Comstock Lode was founded in 1859 and known by many, such as author Mark Twain, as the 'richest place on Earth'.
Your driver-guide will give you an education on the region, including its geography, history and unique plant and animal life over the course of your one hour and twenty-minute ride.
You'll get a tour of both Carson City and Virginia City, with stops at the Governor's Mansion, Kingsbury Grade over Daggett Pass and The Way It Was Museum to browse historic artifacts. Finally, you'll see Comstock Lode with time after to grab a bite to eat or drink at the oldest bar in Nevada.
