On this tour, you will learn about the city’s art scene and explore the vibrant artist community that exists there.
Along with your guide, you will walk through the historic area of Taos and the Taos Plaza. Stopping at the Couse-Sharp Historic Site, you will learn about the founding fathers of the Taos Artist Society. Next, you will go to visit Blumenschein Home & Museum, where you will meet artisan Rich Nichlos. You will also get to explore the WPA commissioned frescoes painted by Taos Artist Society Members.
Next, you will stop at Tres Estrellas Design, where the owners will give you the chance to learn about native textiles, and give you a weaving demo. The tour will round off with a chocolate elixir at Chokola.
