On this tour, you’ll have the chance to learn more about the wind turbine farm of Palm Springs.
After making your way to the tour center, you’ll head out on a one-hour tour in your own vehicle, using an audio guide app on your smartphone. Along the route of your tour, you’ll see a variety of items and locations that have played a role in developing renewable energy, including operating and non-operating wind turbines, the Indigo Power Plant and a retired wind farm. You’ll also have the opportunity to learn more about the history of wind turbines and hear facts and stories from your audio guide.
