On this guided Rock Island tour, you’ll explore the Thousand Islands in a glass bottom boat. You’ll take a boat tour of the St. Lawrence River, enjoying a view of the marine life from the glass boat. You’ll hear about the history and legends of the islands. You’ll also learn more about the wildlife that inhabits the Thousand Islands from your naturalist guide. You’ll then dock at Rock Island for one hour. Here, you’ll see the Rock Island Lighthouse. You can climb to the top of the lighthouse for a panoramic view of St. Lawrence Seaway from the lantern room. You can also visit the lighthouse keeper’s cottage-turned-museum and gift shop. Here, you’ll learn more about the history of the lighthouse, its keepers and the St. Lawrence River. Additionally, you can explore the island and buy souvenirs from the gift shop.
