On this tour, you’ll have the chance to discover the pre-Columbian ruins of Cihuatan before exploring the colonial architecture of Suchitoto.
You’ll first travel to the ruins of Cihuatan, one of the country’s best-preserved pre-Columbian archaeological sites. You can climb the pyramid, explore the main square and learn about the site's history and the culture of its former inhabitants. You’ll then continue to the town of Suchitoto. As you stroll along the cobbled streets, you can view colonial architecture and some of the town’s famous landmarks, including the church of Santa Lucia and Suchitlan Lake. After your guided tour, you’ll also have the opportunity to independently explore the town and visit some of its art galleries and coffee shops.
You’ll complete your experience at the iconic Los Tercio Waterfall, where you can view the naturally formed hexagonal stone blocks.
