In this activity, you’ll get to go on a journey through the mangrove forest of the Laguna Grande Reserve located in Fajardo, Puerto Rico. You’ll put on a life vest and hop on to a kayak with assistance from the staff. The kayaks feature comfortable seating and are equipped with Adaptive Paddling Program to help you kayak at ease even if trying it for the first time.
You’ll start your kayaking activity just after sunset and paddle through the mangroves as you make your way to the Bioluminescent Bay of Laguna Grande. You’ll have a chance to experience the glowing bioluminescent water at the bay. Through live-commentary, you’ll learn more about this natural phenomena and the ecosystem.
