On this tour, you’ll get to explore the local markets in Surquillo and Surco districts. You’ll begin by heading to the Surquillo district and visiting the local market. Here, you’ll get to taste exotic fruits from different regions. You’ll also try a unique version of Ceviche, the popular dish of Lima and Causa Rellena, which is made with yellow smashed potatoes, shredded chicken and vegetables.
Next, you’ll head to Santiago de Surco Market, which is a popular local market and well-known for its rainforest food along with fresh exotic fruit juices. Here, you’ll get to try typical forest dishes such as the Juanes de Pollo or Chaufa de Cecina, which are made from organic ingredients from the Amazon rainforest.
Finally, you’ll explore the Ugarelli vineyard in Surco, which is well-known for the production of young dry, semi-dry and sweet wines along with the customary Pisco and Macerated Peruvian wines.
