On this full-day private tour, you will visit some of the highlights of Penang.
You will start your day by visiting two Buddhist temples within George Town. Thai-themed Wat Chayamangkalaram has a reclining Buddha, while nearby Dhammikarama Temple is Burmese. Built in 1805, it was the first Buddhist temple in Penang. You will then drive to Penang Botanical Gardens before having lunch.
In the afternoon you can ride the funicular train to Penang Hill’s summit, where you can admire the view. Afterwards, you can visit Ayer Itam Market before you go to Kek Lok Si Temple. There you can see the Kuan Yin Goddess of Mercy statue and look at the temple’s many styles. Finish your tour with a visit to Pinang Peranakan Mansion, the former house of a Chinese Captain.
