On this guided tour from Ulaanbaatar, you'll visit the Genghis Khan Statue Complex and Gorkhi-Terelj National Park. The statue complex is connected to Ulaanbaatar by a 34 mi paved road and features an equestrian statue of Genghis Khan, which was built in 2008 to celebrate the eight-hundredth anniversary of the foundation of the Mongolian Empire. Here, you'll be able to walk or take an elevator to the head of the horse, where you'll have panoramic views of the surrounding area. There will also be a recreation area, restaurants and souvenir shops to browse. Next, you'll head to Gorkhi-Terelj National Park, a strictly protected area of Khentii.
