On this scenic day trip, you’ll travel to the town where Shakespeare’s ‘Romeo and Juliet’ was set – Verona and you’ll also visit the pretty lakeside setting of Sirmione.
Starting with a visit to the medieval town of Verona, you’ll begin with a sightseeing tour of famous landmarks such as The Roman Theatre, Verona’s beautiful piazzas and Juliet’s House with its famous balcony. You’ll also see the ancient Roman amphitheatre of Verona Arena.
The tour will also go to Piazza Bra – the main square, where your guide will give you top tips on the best places to gelato or a delicious local lunch. The second part of the tour will showcase the stunning scenery of Sirmione – a resort town on the edge of Lake Garda. Here, you’ll see its quaint medieval streets and views of the impressive Scaligero Castle.
