This four-hour tour will take you through the neighbourhood of Oltrarno – the Florentine equivalent of Paris’ bohemian Left Bank – to discover its culinary delights. Your local guide will lead you on a route through some of the best eateries and stores, like a typical Italian trattoria and a popular gelato hotspot.
You’ll make a total of nine stops and enjoy a generous array of tastings like biscotti (which you’ll watch being made), Tuscan cheese, fennel-spiced salami, a seasonal soup or stew, gelato and Florence’s famous lampredotto – a sandwich filled with meat from a cow’s stomach.
