On this food tour, you’ll get to discover Rome’s cuisine and specialities in Civitavecchia city. You’ll meet your guide in the ancient Roman area and get a brief introduction about the history of the city and its popular medieval and renaissance eras. You’ll get to see panoramic views of the port and Roman era ruins at your meeting point.
Then you will stroll along the picturesque, narrow streets of the old town, discover the medieval city defence walls and visit a popular pastry shop to sample local specialities. Finally, you’ll head to the city market area to experience more local flavours. You can try a variety of local food and drinks, including appetisers, cheese, bruschetta, cold cuts, olives and white and red wine.
