This guided two-hour walking tour gives you the opportunity to discover the historic city centre of Lecce. After meeting your guide, you'll stroll through the streets and alleys to view the classical buildings, Baroque churches and ancient Roman monuments. During your tour, you'll explore the highlights of Piazza Sant'Oronzo, the main square of Lecce. Here, you'll see the 17th-century bell tower built by Giuseppe Zimbalo and the intricate façade of the Holy Cross Cathedral, which took 300 years to complete. You'll also see the ancient Roman theatre, which is surrounded by Baroque gardens and terraces, and Palazzo del Sedile, which is a prime example of the Gothic-Renaissance architecture of the 16th century.
