During this tour, you’ll discover the west side of Mytilene, along with two of its charming villages. Your first stop will be the mountainside Vatoussa, where you can stop for a coffee or get a pastry in the picturesque square.
You’ll continue on to the village of Sigri, stopping to visit the active Monastery of Ipsilou at the top of Mt. Ordymnos along the way. In Sigri, you can explore the Geological Museum of the Petrified Forest with its fossilised tree trunks and depictions of Greece’s ancient flora. You’ll have free time in Sigri to relax or swim at the sandy beach or head to a local tavern for a meal.
