On this four-hour guided tour of the Meteora, you'll go on a morning sightseeing visit to explore the monasteries in the region. After leaving your hotel in Kastraki or Kalabaka, you'll travel on a luxury minibus to get to the rock formations.
Upon arrival, you'll spend time seeing six of the monasteries in the Meteora. You'll also have a chance to go inside three monasteries to explore their interiors. Additionally, you'll visit the cave of St. George the Mandilas and the Chapel of Doupiani. As you traverse through the region, you'll learn why hermits lived in the caves.
