On this half-day tour, you’ll explore six lakes of the spectacular Lake District, along with sights like Kirkstone Pass and Grasmere village.
You’ll start with a trip up Kirkstone Pass, where you’ll have a chance to take in sweeping views of the Lake District. After a quick coffee in Glenridding, a village tucked away on the shores of Ullswater, you’ll continue to the other tarns, meres and waters – as the lakes are called in this region – that make up this six-lake tour.
Along the way, you’ll have a chance to visit the Castlerigg Stone Circle, thought to be older than Stonehenge, and the charming village of Grasmere, famous for gingerbread and its ties to the poet William Wordsworth.
