I had to be in this area for some work and booked one night here. I had little expectation that this would be any good as it was quite cheap for the Reykjavik district. What I found was a fantastic boutique hotel that has amazing rooms and is very clean. Nearby are a number of decent restaurants within a 5 minute walk.

A quaint pub was on the property and although they did not have a kitchen to provide dinner there were local options nearby and, they did offer and traditional Icelandic breakfast in the morning as well as offer a delicious lamb soup that we had for lunch while staying there.
