The staff was respectful although while the lobby was full of people and we were all waiting on rooms the lady told me it was the end of her shift and she was leaving, even at my job if the work is over whelming I’d stay to make sure the consumer didn’t pay the price for our under preparation…

we picked a busy week, bike week. we enjoyed our stay but may not stay again in same place. parking across the road. would have rather had out car closer. Unloading for room was crowded and overwhelming but the staff helped direct us. after we needed to move our car to the parking garage across the st. Exit and Entrance was same area, may have been because of bike week. it was a tight fit.

My boyfriend and I came for bike week an it honestly felt like we were in jail the cops had everything blocked off we had to drive several blocks out of the way to get to our room.. the whole atmosphere was different an one of the traffic directors told us that they didn’t do any of the blocking roads or police cars last week when the white people had their bike week. I will never come back here for any holiday.

We liked the beach the best but it was very loud because there were Harley motorbikes on all of the floors of the hotel/condo site. We also liked our drive to Georgetown which is about 1 hour away. It was finally quiet. Also, we liked the state parks though they were too close to highways and roads and okay for walking but not for cycling (routes were too short). Sometimes motorbikes they came up the side of the hotel and revved up until 2 am which did interfere with our sleep. The hotel smelled funky.

I’ve been going to Myrtle Beach most summers of my life (I’m from the other end of the state). North Myrtle is the place to stay, for sure. Cleaner and less crowded, lovely beaches. It’s a short drive to all the attractions. It’s a good family getaway. Nothing fancy or out of the ordinary, but I’ve got great memories there. As an adult I prefer the Outer Banks but for a quick/convenient beach trip, Myrtle will be probably be our choice every time.

There are a LOT of attractions for the entire family to enjoy. Golf, if you love to play, this is the place to be. Will definitely need GPS to get around if you are not familiar with Myrtle Beach. The HANGOUT is full of things to see and listen to, but they need a better selection for their menu.

I enjoy MB for its variety of activities, entertainment and restaurants. The beach itself is beautiful! Easy to get around the city. The Blue Crab Festival is a great experience, craft, music and food!
The hotel smelled so delightful and was very clean. It’s located close to Broadway on the Beach. There is a “corner store” called Cash Grocery it’s literally right across the street and they have just about everything you may need or forgot. We used Uber for places we couldn’t walk to and it is very affordable and easy to use. The outside pool seems small but it actually works really well. Never too crowded. The beach is right behind the resort, I recommend renting the umbrella and chairs they offer. And definitely use sunscreen!!!!
Me, my husband and our little dog spent the weekend here and it was wonderful, the best point is that it is a pet friendly hotel, the staff are all very polite and helped us with everything, the hotel is very clean, the breakfast and very varied, the rooms are organized, the entire hotel area is clean, the smell is wonderful, the location is great, close to shopping, restaurants and only 13 minutes from the beach, being in a place where you feel good and your pet is also the better ! We will be there soon for Christmas!!
The view was awesome. We had three issues: plugged drains in the bathroom, marijuana smell from next door condo, and very bad directions sent to my phone. The address was incorrect in Myrtle Beach however- it was correct in North Myrtle Beach. This incorrect information lost us at least two hours. We actually unloaded the car only to realize this was not where we were supposed to be. a nightmare after driving for 14 hours. I finally did call bookings-and the gentleman did guide us to the correct hotel.
loved the fav that it’s right on the beach and for the price, it was so worth it. we had a pool right outside our room that the kids enjoyed every single day. the hotel right next door has bowling, an arcade, a bar, and a 9th floor restaurant we ate at and watched dolphins play in the ocean. we had an amazing vacation thanks to the money we saved staying at this property. the two bedroom suite was like having our own little apartment in Myrtle beach.
Before coming here, we had checked out of the last one because it wasn't up to par. I absolutely LOVED this one and location (last hotel on the strip next to a housing community). The check in and check out process was super simple and the bartender was on point! My kiddos enjoyed all the different pools and they had daily adult-led activities for the kiddos (arts and crafts, water activities, sand castle contest, just to name a few).
Literally just liked the location. Beyond that, my initial room wasn't ready for me when I got there at 6pm-- my sheets were on the ground and I had to get a new one. Which was in a better location...
But it was damn cheap, a place you can't even afford to complain-- hell I could walk from the backdoor to the beach and that was nice. And that's the honesty of a place like this. It's like, fuck it, you're here aren't you??
I did not stay at the hotel. I got there. I cannot get anybody to help me for almost 30 minutes I called the number on the door they kept telling me somebody was going to come. The hotel is dirty people was running up and down the stairs from one room to another, I was afraid for me in my children life because people are smoking and drinking all on the property. I did not stay at the hotel I would like my refund please.
I stayed at the Courtyard by Marriott when I attended a conference in Myrtle Beach in 2022. My experience was so pleasant last time that when I couldn't book my room in my conference hotel this year I knew I would be staying at the same place. Needless to say it did not disappoint with clean rooms, clean facilities, and friendly staff. All at a reasonable price.
The location of the hotel was great! Right on the beach, open up the sliding door to the balcony and the ocean is right there. Very easy beach access. The room was very clean and the staff extremely pleasant. The building itself is dated, however; the room seemed to be freshened up with newer paint, carpeting, bedding.
We visit this resort at least once or twice a year because we are familiar with it. It’s what one would expect from a hotel on the strip of Myrtle. There are a lot of pools and hot tubs, an area outside for kids to play in the water, and a lazy river. There is also a little coffee shop in the elevator lobby.
I did not feel safe at this property..felt bad the first night on my much awaited trip. ☹️
I traveled by car for three days to get to South Myrtle Beach !! I still think it's a good place to travel despite my situation however I will not return to this property.
My stay was very enjoyable. My husband and I were visiting Myrtle Beach for our 39th Anniversary and stated that the hotel was very nice and close to attractions and restaurants in walking distance including the board walk.
The location was amazing literally right on the beach we did get hit with a hurricane Idina but we didn't flood or anything so that was great the hotel staff didn't panic they did their jobs w what they could . Great stay
The name of the hotel was different when we got down there it’s called Villa on the site but called “Plantation” when U get down there. As a Person of color found that offensive!
The hotel was a good deal to fit the amount of people we had traveling. It was right on the beach and location was just outside of the downtown Myrtle Beach.
