Well first of all when you work at a hotel you should look like you work in a hotel not like you're outside playing or visiting some of the front desk workers need to learn how to communicate with people coming from all out of different countries and different nationalities because they were very rude the two men were rude they act like they would do me a favor at the same time the breakfast was horrible I wouldn't give that to my dog the breakfast area was filthy coming into the hotel was filthy carpets filthy when you check into a hotel before running a room you should be able to know that there's no pool there's no washer and dryer these accommodations you look for when you going out of town this is it a real good part of town but this hotel need a total facelift the bathrooms the carpet in the hotel rooms and God knows how often do they wash blankets on the bed you could tell that this hotel used to be nice but it's going downhill very fast one thing I did not like and I was very upset about I asked for a king size room on the second floor they put me on the first floor first room I answered the window was open downstairs I was very upset because I didn't feel safe legitimate I went back to the front desk and he took me to another room next door to that one and assured me that they have cameras that did not make me say because first of all you can have all the cameras in the world but if you can't get to that person to help that person is something happens what good is a camera besides sitting that person to jail it's not helping my life anyway I don't mind staying in hotels where dogs are but they shouldn't they should have dogs and one special area and not in any room of the hotel I have a problem with that I love dogs but no PS if you're going to own a hotel you can't live in it not like this one they cook in the rooms and it s one thing I don't want to smell when I sleep is someone cooking because it upsets...

The city, food, parks and shopping is beautiful. The city is so clean and the landscaping in all the parks is just so lush and beautiful. So much history! Parking is not necessarily hard to come by but you do need to pay to park everywhere - not expensive but still something to consider when heading out. Very walkable for the right age group or for those without hinderances. Some of the restaurants we ate at were a.Lure, B. Matthews, Corleone's, Sundae Cafe on Tybee Island - all excellent and would definitely go back. The City Market is an excellent area - great shopping and restaurants. I wouldn't necessarily say that this is somewhere that I would bring children as there doesn't seem to be a lot for them to do but for young couples without children on up to seniors that are mobile, this will make for a wonderful trip. We were there for 4 full days and we were able to see everything on our lists.

Food was great. Getting around was ok.
Food was great. Getting around was ok. I would avoid Hunter Army Golf Course and Bacon Park Golf Course. Both were unfit for average gofers.Greens were terrible and the fairways were not much better.

Savannah is always fabulous.
Savannah is always fabulous. Their restaurants are wonderful. There are great bar options from loud dance clubs to peaceful speakeasy’s. Many museums and art to enjoy. Loved the variety of shopping from local shops to name brands. Finally, lots of opportunities to just sit, relax, and take in the sites.

Really nice walkable city with friendly people and...
Really nice walkable city with friendly people and interesting sites. The food scene is still developing: we were looking for amazing seafood experience like in Charleston, but it was not as good as expected. All in all a nice one night stay. The best thing was our hotel, Thompson by Hyatt.
For the price and the location of this hotel it has to be one of the best around. We were able to walk to every place we wanted to go downtown and never had to worry about where we would be able to park our car or how long it would take to get back to our hotel. We were conveniently located about 2 blocks from River street. Also of all the surrounding hotels, Quality inn has the cheapest parking rate. The staff was all very friendly and helpful and a security guard could be noticed walking around the hotel at all hours.
I have kids so the fact that no matter what the weather is The indoor pool was a great amenity and pretty cool. I also like the fact that it’s only two minutes off of 95 which was very convenient. This hotel was on the more affordable ends of the spectrum and was very clean for the price that was offered through booking.com. This hotel is also 20 minutes away from downtown Savannah which I totally took advantage of and God to sightsee and experience the beautiful Riverside with my family. Overall good experience.
- great location, at the edge of Downtown by Washington Sq
- valet parking
- friendly staff
- beautiful lobby „living room“ style
- gorgeous outdoor seated area towards the inner part of the hotel
- pool, note however that it is very small and way too warm. Throughout the day it was too crowded, I recommend going there only in the evening
- good food at the breakfast restaurant (a la carte)
- complementary wine and spiked lemonade 4-5PM
- complementary coffee and tea in the morning
The location of Marshall House was great - very walkable to the riverfront and all downtown attractions. The staff was incredibly kind and accommodating. Our room was a "petite queen", which was small but charming. (Our view was of the roof, but no big deal.} I loved the free breakfast and wine social each night we were there. They even had a harpist the second night, which was phenomenal, as she took requests from everything from Led Zepplin to Canon in D.
This hotel appears to be newly renovated and was very clean and comfortable. Everything to see in downtown Savannah was just a short walk away. The self-parking in the garage across the street was easy to access and very reasonable. We would definitely stay here again.
I wasn’t there. It was supposed to be a hotel room for my anniversary but I was in a car crash. They were very accommodating to my husband when he showed up with my mother in law (lol) because I was at Savannah Memorial. I’m grateful you worked with them!
The location was good! This hotel is near downtown Savannah!
The water for the shower was hot and the shower was clean!
Parking for the location was good! The parking lot is very open and there is plenty of room to park! And parking is free!
This is a brand new hotel and and about a 10 minute drive from downtown Savannah. It's also located in a safe area. There is an inside pool and they serve hot breakfast daily. We would definitely stay here again.
Location and the proximity to downtown Savannah.
Parking availablilty.
Pool area looked nice though it was already closed when we checked in.
Leaving was the best part. Would never return to this La Quinta.
Great boutique hotel in wonderful location in downtown Savannah. I enjoyed having the onsite restaurant and also being able to walk to dining options downtown. The room was quiet, comfortable, and clean!
A good choice if you want a hotel close to downtown Savannah without paying downtown prices. The rooms have plenty of room for families up to 6 people (2 beds and a sleeper sofa).
