The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the location was absolutely fantastic. We were able to watch the sunset over the ocean, and it was a short walk right out our door to a private cove. The whole facility was in good repair and updated, and we really enjoyed our stay. We listened to the waves crash on the beach all night.
We only stayed one night, but we would have been comfortable for several nights. The room was a good size for 2 adults and one child and had a microwave, refrigerator, coffee maker, shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. The beds were fairly comfortable, and there was an extra blanket and plenty of pillows, all with sparkling clean linens.

Room was small but very clean. There is NO AIR CONDITIONING offered in our room. We did have a tall rotating fan in the corner to use. Luckily it was cool this time of year (mid May) in Fort Bragg, so fan was not needed the evening we stayed. Beds were comfortable. The location is right off of Highway 1 which has a lot of traffic, but the room was very soundproof, so we were not bothered by any loud traffic noise.

Fort Bragg is my favorite place in the world and has been for years. From the beautiful drive through the redwoods, to Noyo Harbor, which is always stunning, to the sea lions and beautiful views, to the yummy food at the Sea Pal, and a the lovely beaches, Fort Bragg was perfect as always.

Fort Bragg has always been one of my favorite coastal towns.
Fort Bragg has always been one of my favorite coastal towns. I have been visiting here since I was a kid. The last few years the downtown has improved with alot of new businesses and there are alot of places to walk, state parks to visit. We also found a Seafood restaurant that is now our favorite in town.

This was our 2nd Christmas spent in Ft.
This was our 2nd Christmas spent in Ft. Bragg - the first being 25 years ago! We had 3 great meals - Dinners at The Wharf & Noyo River Grill and breakfast at Eggheads with its Wizard-of-Oz-themed menu. We visited Glass Beach with gorgeous Pacific views of the wild NoCal coastline, the Glass Beach museum, walked through the quaint and historic olde town Ft. Bragg, and the amazing botanical gardens! (though it was winter and not much color - still a must do!) We of course did go to Mendocino, too.

Unfortunately we did not have good weather and even extended our trip for a day to avoid driving in the storm....On the day we departed the weather was beautiful! With the departure of the lumber and fishing industries, FB is now a tourist community. The scenery is beautiful! The weather is cool and often foggy close to the shore. Our favorite place for breakfast is David's Deli....Many great places for other meals. Be sure to visit the small outdoor restauranta along the Noyo harbor. Visit glass beach and walk the coastal trail. North Coast Brewery isa must visit location.

Fort Bragg is always a treat to my family.
Fort Bragg is always a treat to my family. We love the ocean and the gorgeous coastline . Tide pooling along the coast and visiting McKerricher State park are among our favorite things. The food and restaurants are great. We love D'Aurelios for Italian Dinner and The Laurel Street Deli for Breakfast . For great coffee and a snack our go to is Headlands The Botanical Gardens are a must when we stay. The beautiful and serene walks with basically a living encyclopedia for native plants. New bar called Tall Guy Brewing on Franklin street was very fun and had great live music.

Honestly it's a great place but to costly the prices on hotel change from $69 to $150-$200 Fridays and Saturdays price don't change or discount for long stay its nice if you like to travel and eat sea food it's a great place
I loved the balcony overlooking the sunsets on the ocean. I usually stay at a diffferent, more expensive hotel nearby but it was sold out for this last minute trip. I was super impressed at how clean and HUGE the room was for the price. It is definitely dated, but still very cozy, quaint and the views from my King room with a private balcony overlooking the ocean. The indoor pool was a nice treat that I used every night I was there. I was pleasantly surprised and look forward to staying here again. I will definitely be back!
We liked the old 100 year old house. We got a room on the third floor. The remodel was nice. I stayed with my adult son. We had nice beds on different walls, both looking out on the ocean in the distance. The staff asked me if I was ok walking 3 flights of stairs, which was thoughtful. There was Keurig coffee on the first floor. Power bars, fresh fruit, tea were offered. Popcorn too. It was fine for us. Beach was a short drive away, as are Noyo Harbor and Old Town Fort Bragg. We enjoyed the quiet and the ambiance.
The bed was very comfortable and the room was spacious. Once warmed, we were comfortable for our Christmas Day celebration. It would have been great to be outside more since the location near Glass Beach in Fort Bragg is fantastic. On Kwanza's first morning, bright sunshine appeared about 10:00 and we spent 2 wonderful hours on Glass Beach until the tide came in. Denny's, just up the hill from the motel, has a good breakfast--one of the freshest of this chain we've encountered anywhere in the US.
The location was perfect. When it says on the beach the are serious. Could easily see and hear the ocean from our rooms veranda. We are in our 60’s and could easily walk down the short hill to the beach. Hotel was Very clean and staff VERY nice and helpful. If we were to return to Fort Bragg we would stay here !!!
The hotel was perfect, when we arrived our room had still wet carpet and a bad smell (because of carpet being wet and not dried in a cold weather), but Thomas went overboard to help us and find another room which was hard during long weekend. The hotel itself seems really new and nice.
One of the best stays I’ve ever had in fort Bragg so far. Very pleasant staff, rooms were perfectly clean and beautiful and the views were unbelievable. Definitely plan on coming back here again with my partner for another get away. Thank you!
We were so happy to find that our room actually had a sea-side view and beach access as advertised. We arrived at night then woke to this incredible scene. Many pictures later, we left to explore Fort Bragg. Charming.
This hotel is the extremely classy the best in Fort Bragg, CA. The elegant room's view from the jacuzzi tub of the Noyo Harbor has a fireplace and balcony. Contemporary breakfast has fabulous muffins.
The room was very clean and i loved the location. The staff was respectful and responsible. I would go there again. I would definitely recommend the sea bird lodge.
The hotel was in a pretty good spot and it was a short drive to most things we wanted to do.
There is a fridge and microwave in the room and this is very handy.
