It was great other than the traffic noise starts at 4:30 AM on the adjacent hiwaywhich was a little challenging to get a decent sleep.
It was just okay. Nothing outstanding. Offers the services & similar highlights of any city that size. The city layout makes it very difficult to get around. Could use more useful street signage in town. Thankful for my GPS.
The day trip we took up to Elkwater/Cypress Hills was wonderful. Very nice relaxing drive.

I recommend this hotel.
I recommend this hotel. Very helpful staff, good warm breakfast, comfortable beds, quiet location, close to restaurants and shopping. Hotel is pet-friendly, and there is no pet surcharge.
We plan to visit Medicine Hat again in the summer. An interesting heritage downtown, with friendly people.

Medicine Hat is a beautiful city.
Medicine Hat is a beautiful city. Easy to get around and has some wonderful old buildings, Medalta pottery is well worth the tour. Shopping is good for a small city. The drive along the river has beautiful old homes and lovely trees.

Didn't get to see much.
Didn't get to see much. Stopped in Medicine Hat instead if Swiff Current because the road we were on didn't have gas stations & we would have ran out of gas & by the time we arrived we were tired

It's very hot there.
It's very hot there. The city has some wonderful places to visit and is central to many more in that area of the province. Lots of shopping and eating out options as well as parks. It's not a large city so easy to get around with the main highway running through it. So many trails in beautiful river settings too!

We were there as my husband was having surgery at the hospital. Hospital was fantastic. Great staff, not super busy. Enjoyed being close to a lovely shopping centre. The downtown of Medicine Hat was very interesting . Lots of historic buildings. Beautiful little parks and flowers. Found one cafe called “Inspire” that was also an art gallery showcasing local artists. Great lunch and coffee place.
This is a fairly new facility, where a suite is literally a suite: two rooms, couches, a table, two large beds, and bathroom with plenty of counter space. The breakfast room opens out into a second room, with well-spaced tables. The beds are heavenly, and the television is much bigger than the 40 - or 42-inch variety in other hotels we stayed in on this trip. There are also two restaurants within easy walking-distance. And the swimming pool is located just off the reception room, guaranteeing peace and quiet for sleeping guests.
The property seemed to be recently renovated and very clean. It was very spacious and comfortable. And the walk in shower very nicely done with terrific water pressure. There was an excellent Indian Restaurant on the property with good food and good value. And the hotel breakfast included in the price located in a spacious area over the atrium. It was good value.
The rep at the hotel who checked us out on Monday am refused our request of a receipt for what the (different) rep who checked us on the previous pm had charged us. Also, we were put in room 108 on the third floor below a heavy-footed person who kept us awake until the small hours, and recommenced at about 6-7 am. This after we had agreed to a room upgrade.
Breakfast was as one would expect from a low end hotel, and the cooking staff was pleasant. The pool area looked nice, although I didn't end up using it. The air conditioning system worked quite well, despite the noise. Hot water was responsive and the temperature range was great. Two of the three front desk staff I met were kind and sociable.
I did not have breakfast at the hotel as were going to a family brunch at a restaurant close by. I was very pleased to be able to get hot/fresh coffee in the lobby early in the morning. The disabled room was spacious and easy to move about in with the wheelchair, a raised toilet seat accessible in the room is the only thing I would add.
The property was easy to navigate, room numbers are not logical but there is signage telling you where to go. We were on the second floor but room 402. Continental breakfast was tasty and a lot more warm food options than most hotels. Staff were all very friendly and personable.
My queen room wasn't ready on early arrival as requested and approved, but they found me another room, an upgrade to a king room for no extra charge, amazing. I have stayed at this same Home Inn in Medicine Hat several times before and it has always been a good experience.
The lovely owner is an amazing & so kind. He went out of his way to ensure our comfort & continued happiness throughout our stay. This motel was clean clean clean!!! Great value & it is quiet as well. Very happy with our quick visit to Medicine Hat!!!
A very friendly, welcoming hotel with cheerful staff and contented guests (always a good sign). At the very reasonable fees, we were expecting a rather basic motel but were pleasantly surprised with this well-equipped inn.
It is hard to rate this hotel as they had a water leak or something so loud fans were running in the lobby causing some inconvenience but I am sure that if everything was as it should be this hotel us great
The staff make this hotel a pleasurable stay. They are upbeat, friendly and always ready to help. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The lady that runs the breakfast room is a sweetheart.
I really like this hotel. it’s comfortable rooms and good location downtown which is close some really good restaurants. The rates are good value for the rooms.
