Mohammed is a great host. The hotel is the best we've stayed in, in our travel through Morocco for our budget. The food was delicious, the views were incredible! And they have the best working shower :)
You can take a walk to the mountains directly from the accommodation. Mohammed was so kind to show us the beginning of the trail.
We had breakfast on the terrace with a very nice view of the valley.
Google maps doesn't show the last stretch of the road to the hotel. But just keep going further on the main road and there will be a sign on your left to turn left. You park by the river and walk across the bridge to reach a hostel a bit further up.

Great location with very nice owners. Had a nice conversstion about rock climbing. Best breakfast by far! Nice terrace to watch the stars at night.
Visit, Visit, Visit. And if you like to hike, do the climb that starts at the stairs. If you are a good climber, it takes about an hour to get to the top. We crossed paths with goats and nomads along the way! The view is a panoramic view of both sides.

Todra Gorge is a beautiful area.
Todra Gorge is a beautiful area. I went there mainly to climb with a group of friends as it is an area famous for this
Etoile de Gorge as the perfect location for this as there is literally great climbing as soon as you step out of the hotel. Many great climbing spots are just within walking distance. And if you drive a bit, you can find more amazing crags.
Wi-fi is bad in the entire area.
(BTW Orange has zero signal in this area so get a Sim from INWI if you're thinking of coming to Todra Gorge).
I would seriously recommend planning for a digital detox and not having to do a bit of remote work as I had to :( as this place is gorgeous and relaxing!
Price-wise the whole area it's on the touristy end for food. But this can be said for all hotels and restaurants in the area. Restaurant food prices aren't too different from touristy places in Marrakesh. In other (less popular) places, the food quality is the same and half the price.
