Close to international airport. Take the Metro from airport to Line 2 (Miguelito station). Take Line 2 to “24 de Diciembre”. Apartment is near large Catholic Church and school. Good bed. Needs bowls (for soup and cereal)

Entry to customs after deplaning was miserably long (almost 2 hours) we were NOT prepared for this. Very little English speaking officials to help explain what was happening. Customs appeared to be short staffed that late in the evening and fingerprinting, answering all of the detailed questions about where, what address, dates, etc. was very time consuming. Outside of customs, Tocumen was good for our overnighter prior to our shuttle to the Colon cruise port.

I hope this is in reference to the airport.
I hope this is in reference to the airport. It is brand new and terminal two is the worst laid out plan. It is already falling apart. When arriving internationally you leave your flight right into the general population of the airport. You then have to walk to the end of terminal 2 to get to baggage (we arrived in terminal one). Some walking sidewalks were not working. I don't understand the logic of the setup and mixing outgoing and incoming passengers. The signage left a lot to be desired. Never sure if you are going the right way. We will use the airport again I am sure but for it being new it sure leaves a lot to be desired.

New terminal (to us) but the bathrooms were horrible.
New terminal (to us) but the bathrooms were horrible. Not cleaned, overflowing paper bins dirty floors. Overall it looks like it was hurried construction and now falling apart. No moving sidewalk. We were not impressed with Terminal 2 at all. The prices on food, drink and goods are astronomical. A bottle of water $4.25 (at mini-mart $1). Food is sky high. Guess we haven't been out in the real world (due to the COVID years) and boy were we suprised.

If you plan to take tours in the various parts of Panama...
If you plan to take tours in the various parts of Panama City, don't stay this far away from the city. You will NOT want to drive a car if you are not used to Panamanian driving, and you will pay a fair amount to be transported back and forth from Tocumen to the City. If you want a night close to the airport, good choice.

Just stayed for 14 hours. I was transiting in Panama.
Just stayed for 14 hours. I was transiting in Panama. I could only mention that the organization and service at the airport is great, it is very modern and the whole process of catching my next flight was fantastic. I was also able to find a great property fulfilling all the needs for my super short stay: Crowne Plaza Tocumen
Location, many of the hotels I looked at (including this one) only offer a ride to the hotel at the end of your stay and not when you arrive. However, this hotel is so close to the airport that it was worth the walk. I was carrying a single rolling suitcase and wasn't a big deal for me to walk. If you are like many travelers that would need to carry a lot of luggage then it is best to pay the $10 taxi/Uber ride. However, if you are doing that anyway, you might as well stay at a more decent hotel.
It's super clean and well taken care of, has all your necessities plus a fridge, coffee maker and bottled water, soap and towels, of course. It also has a flat screen TV and a super comfortable bed. AC works perfectly! The staff is also very nice and you can feel they care for this property. Always a plus for me. Also, the transport from the airport and back was a fair price, vs. the high prices other taxis charge when you land at Tocumen. You can arrange it with the hostel itself!
We stayed here for one night during the protests over mining. All of the other airport hotels were full, so we got a room at Express Inn. For one night, it was fine. Very convenient location, free shuttle to the airport; both big pluses.
The AC was fine and we felt safe during our stay.
You get what you pay for and for $60 a night, this was fine for us. If you are expecting something different, maybe look elsewhere.
Perfect hotel when you have an early flight. If you’re flying to a country that requires a Covid test, there is a lab adjacent to the hotel. It’s a little more expensive than the airport but very quick and convenient. The free airport shuttle is so convenient and runs on time. Comfortable beds and a great pool to catch the last few rays of Panama sunshine.
Nice quiet hotel very near the Tocumen Airport. They have a good Airport Shuttle service and the ride to the airport is less than 10 minutes. They have a nice garden and pool with bar. Excellent option when you have a one night stop over in Panama. The rooms are spacy, clean and well equiped. Really would recommend this hotel to other travellers.
❤💯Everything about it was wonderful staff was very respectful, helpful and was very nice. The place was great an comfortable. Large rooms pick up was on time an fyi the guy was assigned from there. I enjoyed every bit of it. Very near to the airport i love it and would reccomend any an every1 thats taking a trip to Panamá to visit b&b lodging.
Excellent location for an overnight near Tocumen airport. Clean. Most importantly, courtesy and professionalism of all employees and staff. Nice assortment of Panama made items in gift shop. Breakfast included and well presented. Everyone I interacted with at the hotel seems very happy to work at the Riande Aeropuerto Hotel.
Great service and location, was a very long layover so we could stay in a hotel instead of waiting the next flight at the airport, rooms are big and very nice, restaurant and bar open until eleven pm, it gave us the time to unwind after our first flight, transportation from and to the airport very good and always on time.
As I only stayed 1 night for lay over, this hotel served as a good option. Proximity to airport is ideal, transfer bus is included and very convenient. Rooms are what you'd expect from a Crowne Plaza; comfortable and all amenities are there. Perfect for business travel. Bar and lounge area convenient for drinks and food.
The hotel was close to the airport, it had a free shuttle that went every hour. Breakfast was good. The pool is big and it was fun to use it for a few hours before our flight. The hotel has a relaxed atmosphere. Check out was 12pm which was good, not too early like some other hotels
It was very near to the airport, so I was sure I won't get caught on a traffic jam.
It also got a shuttle, that won't pick you up at the airport, but it will take you from the hotel to your flight. Local regulations don't allow passengers being picked up at the airport.
The room was large and spacious, and clean. The location was right at the airport. (The road design forced the drive to be longer than it should have been - but this was not the fault of the hotel.)
An ideal place for a layover in Panama. The airport shuttle circulates every 30 minutes. I highly recommend to book a room with breakfast, as it is great for the price value.
