Incredible city in lovely Normandy!
Incredible city in lovely Normandy! A lot of wonderful traditional French architecture, roof tops with ardoise, a lot of boats in the port, seagulls - you will find much more than you can imagine! We like Normandie very much, we stayed in Deauville-Trouville-sur-Mer many times and decided to research sea cost far up to La Havr. So we arrive to Honfleur only just to walk during a day, but - we stayed for night))) and after that for one more night))) If you really like France and especially Normandy, you will never tire of walking there, no matter how long you are there!

A very touristy place to visit.
A very touristy place to visit. Lots of places to eat and drink that get packed very early for lunch and dinner. Not cheap. No need to go back but I can see why some people would be attracted to the quayside etc.

An absolutely lovely town visually, with a 16-17th core and one great modern(ish) art gallery (Eugène Boudin) plus one v quirky museum (Satie). It's stuffed with private art galleries (some of them excellent) and restaurants (most decidedly average, but then even average moules frites are v nice); that's because it's tourism central, with the old part of town wall-to-wall holiday lets and the streets thronged with rubbernecking tourists (including us). The rest of the town, around the edges of the vieux ville, is pleasant enough, with real shops and local inhabitants. The beach, a short way out of town, is long, sandy and vast; the viewpoints above the town are worth visiting both for the views and the quirky Notre Dame de Grace; and Honfleur is well placed for visiting the likes of Deauville and Trouville, Le Havre (another fine museum/gallery, with lots of Raoul Dufy), Etretat (forget the town, it's hell trying to find somewhere to park: make for the gardens up above it), and Calvados country generally (for the local markets and local produce. Like Calvados)

A pretty coastal town in Normandy where many artists lived.
A pretty coastal town in Normandy where many artists lived. The Boudin museum is worth a visit. The celebrities sculpture park (Garden of Fame) is great for a walk - beautiful, well maintained, peaceful. (Free public toilets.)The old town has interesting architecture, but the area around the harbour is full of tourists, sundry shops and eating places catering for the crowds....

Honfleur was such a delight , we decided to stay an extra night than originally planned, so much to see.
Plenty of history with historic and beautiful buildings around the harbour.
So many restaurants, cafes, shops and bars.
Every meal we had was delicious, serving time was quite lengthy, everywhere was extremely busy.
A pretty place to visit. I would like to stay again but longer next time.
My mother and I took a trip to France and we are SO glad we decided to stay in Honfleur and specifically at the La Ferme Saint Simeon. It is a beautiful property and we absolutely loved our stay. The staff is amazing and so helpful and pleasant, and the property is just gorgeous. The location is excellent and the sweet town of Honfleur is so special and charming, with the quaint stores and beautiful restaurants along the port. We cannot wait to return someday. Thank you for the special stay at La Ferme Saint Simeon!
Gem of a small hotel. Beautifully furnished suite overlooking lovely little garden. Super comfy king sized bed. Nice little galley kitchen with fridge. Sukru the owner was a hospitable and friendly yet unobtrusive host.
Great location on a traffic free quiet street close to the centre of the lovely Honfleur harbour.
For our 4 day stay we parked our car about 400 metres away at the Naturuspace car park which is free. There is also street parking (payment) to the rear of the property.
Highly recommended.
Really good hotel located in the center of Honfleur. The staff is very friendly and they really good organized. With the booking we asked for a place to store our bicycles over night. They answered that it would not be a problem. It was noticed in their system - when we checked in they showed us the place. Well organized! The breakfast was also very good. It seems to be a little more expensive with 16€ but it was really worth it. There is nothing missing, coffee as you like, eggs, fresh fruits, …
We loved this hotel. The staff were very friendly and always on hand if you needed anything.
The pool area was perfect. Children are only allowed in at certain times so great if you were without children. But if you do have children like us, they loved the pool!
The room was spacious with a separate twin room within the room perfect for our small family.
We will be back the next time we’re in Honfleur.
Small boutique hotel located in the heart of the city. Much better then on pictures. Has an atmosphere of France with attention to very small details. Our room was big what is rare case for France. The bathroom contained both a shower and jacuzzi. Great breakfast. Fish market is located just in front of the hotel. And- lovely dog who is leaving here.
Very clean and modern room. Friendly staff. Lovely pool and spa area but is an extra cost of 6€ per person. You can see the toll bridge from the hotel and it’s spectacular! 5 minutes to drive into the centre of Honfleur. Free parking. Also large shopping centre including a Leclerc 1 minute walk away.
Very helpful front desk. Assisted us to find convenient and inexpensive parking in Honfleur which can be very crowded in summer. Front desk also recommended 2 superb Michelin-rated restaurants we greatly enjoyed. Plenty of free parking at hotel and very effective air conditioning.
The breakfast we excellent, try the apple juice (Normandie!). The staff was helpfull to advise us to bring the luggage to the hotel. Honfleur is very crowdy in WE and we finally brought the essential minimum luggage to the hotel". We parked about 1km from the hotel.
The hotel was very charming, comfortable, breakfast was very good and staff very friendly and helpful. The town of Honfleur is very nice and we loved walking around and eating down by the water. This was one of our favorite towns we visited on our trip.
it is one of the most beautiful and charming hotels in France. the old buildings are stunning and the room so tastefully furnished. The garden was full of lights and everything was decorated for Christmas making it feel like a fairytale. truly stunning
Excellent location. Nicely decorated and very clean. The hostess was very nice and helpful. The property is very nice and steps away from all the shops in Honfleur. I would say it’s nicer in person than even the photos. With a lovely patio.
Very peaceful location and surroundings but close enough to walk into Honfleur bearing in mind it's downhill there but uphill coming back! Weather was great so had meals at the hotel on two nights and ate outdoors which was very pleasant.
Great location and clean bedding. Beds were comfortable. Perfect to see Honfleur on foot. Lots of hot water for a bath (no fitted shower, although there is a hose to wash hair). We met the owner who was very friendly and welcoming.
Lovely traditional building in the heart of Honfleur. Everything you need is provided and the parking is a real bonus.
Communication with the owner Sylvie beforehand was very good. Nathalie at the property was very helpful.
This hotel is in a perfect place for visiting Honfleur. It’s about 3 mins walk to the harbour, but far enough away to be quiet. The staff were attentive and friendly. It was inexpensive.
Beautifully served breakfast , charming staff .Inspiring tastefully decorated hotel with a beautiful garden .Very quiet but in a fantastic location near the centre of Honfleur .
