Absolute perfect location. Oliver was extremely hospitable and personable. Breakfast included and the pass we were given allowed us into the waterfall and museum and no charge. We could have also used the local bus but we stayed put.
Enjoying a remote location in the heart of the Black Forest, this guest house is a 15-minute drive from the town of Triberg.

Only truly interesting thing about the town of Triberg are the waterfalls. Other than that, the place has been spoiled by the overly touristy, quasi-Disneyland feel. The are much prettier and more interesting villages to visit in the Black Forest than this. On the other hand, it’s a good base if what you want to do is go hiking. Natural surroundings are great.

So many cool things to do and see in Triberg.
So many cool things to do and see in Triberg. We walked up to the main waterfall, strolled the main street, and bought a nice cookoo clock, designed and hand carved in shop. At night we parked on a back road under the stars and enjoyed no light pollution, taking in the amazing night sky view! Definitely recommend a visit to this Schwarzwald town!

The waterfall is worth the climb, and great that it's included in the guest card issued by the hotel. We also visited the Black Forest museum, which was interesting, although unfortunately our German wasn't good enough to read much of the information with the exhibits. The scenery is lovely.

The Black Forest is beautiful and Triberg is a charming town, if maybe a little tourist-kitschy. There are not a lot of really good dining options -- Cafe Tresor is the only standout -- but there is a really nice grocery store, Edeka, right in the middle of town. The much-hyped waterfall is worth the short but steep hike. It's a good location to explore other towns and attractions.
We just stayed for one night in a 4 bed chalet. Overall it was a great stay. The hostel is very near to all the attractions in Triberg (Triberg waterfall, Triberg Land, Schwarzwald Museum and main market square). Even the bus stop, "Marktplatz" is very near from where we can take a bus to either Triberg station or Wolfach village. We also made perfect use of the Konus Guest Card which was given to us from the hostel.
The hostel was clean and tidy and the staffs were very nice.
The personnel were very friendly. Our check-in time was supposed to be at 15:00, but since we arrived a couple of hours early we were very thankful to find out that our room was already prepared for us, especially since we had been travelling for around 6 hours straight. The breakfast buffet was also amazing! I would come here again when I visit Triberg the next time.
The apartment is situated in the center of the town, close to the waterfalls. It is very beautifull, cozy and comfortable furnitured. Good beds. The kitchen was fully equiped. There was enough space to store all our luggage.
The hosts were very friendly and gave information about where to go and what to do. We can heartily recommend this accomodation.
The apartment is very nice and spacious, looks newly renovated and very well designed. The kitchen is well equipped (except from some basic groceries that could have been nice to have...). The host was super nice and helpful and also put some snacks and sweets for us :) We will definitely be happy to stay there again whenever we visit Triberg.
This is a small hotel in the centre of Triberg, ideally suited to anyone visiting the town and particularly Germany's highest waterfall which is literally 5 minutes walk away.
The hotel and my room was very clean, and cleaned daily.
The breakfast was very good and filling!
It would make an ideal location for people walking in the district.
The apartment is located right on the main street of Triberg, which makes all the main attractions in a 5 min walking distance from it. The apartment itself was clean, the beds were comfortable and the kitchen had all the necessities. Overall, it is perfect for a short stay in Triberg from 4+ people.
The view is amazing! The location makes it so easy to walk everywhere in Triberg, which we did. The dinner we ate at the hotel restaurant was excellent. It was also so nice to have the Dreiwelten Card included, we saw things we might not have otherwise seen because we had the card.
Really spacious, clean(!) and beautiful room. Also it is fully equipped!
The owners are more than polite and helpful. The apartment is close to the center and to the waterfalls. The best choice you can make in order to enjoy Black Forest. We DO suggest it for sure :))
Comfortable, excellent view of the city, clean sauna and good breakfast.
But the highlight of this hotel is the excellent and helpful staff. Friendly from the moment we arrived until we left, giving us tips on the city and the Christmas market.
The location is unbeatable! Central to the snall town of Triberg, walking distance to everything, great parking options, and for those who are looking to save some money by cooking a few meals, Edeka is right across the street.
This hotel was great, good breakfast, lovely black forest cake in the Cafe for purchase in the afternoon. The location allowed ease of access to museums and the wasserfall. The room was spacious and great for a family of 4.
Great location and really helpful staff. Very cheap by today’s standards. The patio at the front of the hotel is great for a drink, a meal or watching the world go by. Would definitely stay there again.
We wanted to experience the Black Forest and staying at Gasthaus Staude was the perfect rural location. Our room was spacious, clean and the food in the restaurant was great.
Location was perfect, just few minutes walk from famous triberg waterfall. Staff was polite and friendly. Spa and swimming facilities were excellent. Breakfast was good too.
The apartment was in great location, just up the hill from main attractions in Triberg. Very nice roomy apartment. Well stocked kitchen. 3 large bedrooms.
