Excellent location near Napoli Archeological Museum. Very walkable location overall - near restaurants & shops. Hotel was in a safe location; with attentive & helpful staff. Check in process was easy, and we were able to store our bags at the desk until our unit was ready. We traveled with a group of 7 (adults/teens/grandparents), and reserved 2 "family" rooms, that were close together. The elevator was nice for our older travelers. The room was clean and comfortable. The in-unit stairs up to loft bedroom may be harder to navigate for older folks with mobility issues (our parents were fine). The hotel staff was able to troubleshoot an issue with A/C unit when we arrived, and had fans available. The hotel restaurant had an excellent breakfast (was included in our stay) with a big variety of items to choose from! We would definitely stay here again!

Undulating beside the Bay of Naples, this UNESCO World Heritage city is a maze of narrow streets and cable cars. Although it has an incredible array of churches and monuments, it’s the sheer energy, pulsating life, and buzz of Vespas that really make it exciting.
At first you could mistake this for chaos, but given time you’ll see there’s method to the madness. The stunning, curved portico of the Royal Palace. The perfectly thin pizzas which originated here. The red pepper trinkets to ward off the evil eye adorning practically every old town doorway. All are crafted to perfection.
While all this goes on at street level, below is Underground Naples – a series of tunnels you can visit and even a Graeco-Roman theater which you stop at before emerging into someone’s house!
Head up to the Posillipo area for stunning views of the city and Vesuvius in the distance. The volcano itself can be visited and looking down from it towards Pompeii and Herculaneum gives context to the thousands of artifacts now on display in the city’s National Archaeological Museum.
As for accommodations, Booking.com has a wealth of hotels near Naples Airport, old town B&Bs, city center apartments and more to help you make the most of your stay.
Naples is an interesting place to visit. There is plenty to see for a visit of about 3 days. We enjoyed walking in the Spanish Quarter seeing the museum, underground Naples, also going up to the castle of St. Elmo on the Funicular and walking along by the port. It is a vibrant city, the historic quarter exceptionally busy and a very young scene.
We used the metro to get around too. Pity about the train strike the day we had booked to visit Vesuvius.

We loved this town.
We loved this town. We’ve been hearing bad things about Naples for years, but times have changed. Fun energy, best street food in Europe. Amazingly cheap—get a world-class folded pizza for 2 Euro. Aperol Spritz (small) for 1 Euro. World-class archaeological museum. Beautiful churches.

Historical districts full of everyday life, noise and...
Historical districts full of everyday life, noise and traffic (beware of the scooters), fish and vegetable stands on the street and then behind a corner quiet alley, flats on the ground floor, stairs, park to sit and rest. It was great fun to walk the city without a plan. Remarkable high places allowing You to look at Naples and the Bay from above at different angles. Great trips from the city - Path of Gods on Amalfi Coast, Pompei, Nisida - this is what we managed to visit during 6 day stay. And there is a lot left for the next visit.

Naples was an experience. A very "edgy" city.
Naples was an experience. A very "edgy" city. A bit dangerous crossing the road. Not for the faint-hearted.
Vibrant. A 24 hour city!! Had one excellent pizza and one not very good at a restaurant near the station. Best to get into the real heart of the city perhaps for the best food.
The train to Sorrento was good and it was nice to get away from the hustle and bustle for a day.

Naples is one big open-air market. A city with a soul.
Naples is one big open-air market. A city with a soul. Maybe not to everyone's taste. Full of motives for photographing life. Always interesting exhibitions in historical and religious buildings. A theater with a superb opera repertoire.

Very interesting, very crowded.
Very interesting, very crowded. Lots of eateries in the historic district but most of them not good quality. Be careful of prices and change. A lot of attempted cheating. Follow your host and tour book recommendations. Initially questioned why we stopped here (after 2 weeks in Sicily), but really glad we did. Waited 2 hours to eat at Ancient Pizza. Experience worth it but Pizza wasn’t. View of Naples Harbor from stop on on/off bus spectacular. Food at Volga excellent. Naples Duomo different than others. Walk, walk, walk. We toured Pompei and Amalfi from Salerno. Much saner city.
It was truly an amazing experience and best decision to stay in Villetta Capodimonte.
There is a big garden where you can rest in a lounge set or hammock after being all day in the city. The rooms are great and have everything you need.
Salvatore received us and the communication was excellent with him for the whole trip. He gave us tips for our vacation in Italy and was always very attentive to our requests.
Breakfast was also delicious!
I fully recommend it and we would for sure stay there again when we go back to Naples.
The place was really new, clean, and comfortable with AC. Even had a mini fridge to keep beverages cold which is the first mini fridge we’ve seen in Italy!
We had previously stayed in this neighborhood of Naples and loved the area we wanted to find a place in the same location. Very walkable to everything but the neighborhood itself is quiet.
Free breakfast was offered at a cafe two blocks away. One of the staff also was able to give us a ride to the airport after breakfast for a good price.
The apartment felt so homey and cozy and we were impressed with the effort the host put in for all the details in decoration and equipment. The host Clemmy was very kind and considerate with our late check-in and even prepared lots of food and drinks for us to welcome! We stayed 3-4 other places while traveling in Italy and this was hands-down the bestest place we stayed!! I would come back to Naples just to stay here again :) Thank you so much for your hospitality, it was unforgettable❤️
The owners were so kind and shared with us so many tips for visiting Naples and surroundings. They left the apartment fully prepared for a great breakfast every day and a great staying.
Also, Patty came in the middle of our stay and brought us the most amazing sweets we ate in Italy. Also, her parents drove me by car to an open pharmacy.
The accomodation is 10-15 minutes walking from Naples Stazzione Centrale and it’s easy to acces all Naples’ key points.
beautiful property close to the metro as well as situated in a great location. Shops and restaurants are located only 10 mins walk away. The owner was very kind and explained some routes to take in Naples, as well as checked up on us every now and then to see if we needed anything as well. perfect location for a short or long stay in Naples! breakfast being included was nice as well. I would 100% return- this has been the best stay so far in Italy.
This is a superb place. We were warmly welcomed by the staff, who were friendly and very attentive to every need. Gorgeous decor, very comfortable room and bed and spectacular bathroom. Cool and relaxing place to return to after sightseeing. Highly recommend, the nicest place we've stayed in Italy. Like a five star hotel, the staff are awesome! Thank you for all your kindness.
Maria (the host) is an absolutely wonderful. We could check in after the official time and she stored our bags for free. The hotel is very central (2 min away from the central train station). The room is giant and you have AC.
Definitely try out the restaurant practically underneath the B&B (also called Parthenope). The pizza and pasta is the best in the whole of Italy.
Sergio is a fantastic host. The busyness of Naples was great to be part of but to be able enjoy a noise free space in the evenings and mornings with a beautiful view of Vesuvius was the perfect end to two a week trip through Italy. Breakfast was delicious. Sergio, again was so lovely, welcoming and generous with his time and advice. Highly recommend
The hotel was exceptionally clean, and the amenities were great! I was very pleased with the room. Truly was the best shower we were able to take while staying across Italy for 2 weeks! We really enjoyed our stay with this hotel and appreciated the privacy provided by the enclosed entrance and hotel.
Very comfortable, clean and a pretty spacious room for Italy. Decent bathroom, big shower, and well organised overall.
Location is top, easy to get by since Naples’ traffic is mind blowing.
Intimate location with a doorman 24/7, makes it feel safe, no room for extra surprises.
We stayed here for our last night in Italy for our honeymoon. The hotel is new and beautiful! Everything was very clean and the staff was very attentive. It’s not close to the main city, but they have a shuttle that will take you there until 4/5PM and otherwise can call you a taxi.
We spent our first night in Italy at Toledo 16. They were so helpful getting us from the airport and into the hotel with self check in since we arrived early. A perfect spot to relax and reset after a long day of travel. Great central location to sights, airport, and train station.
A good location, at walking distance form the main attractions in Naples. Easy to find it, close to the seaside and the subway station. A lot of good restaurants and grocery stores nearby. The owner in kind and helpful. The room is clean and big for Italy.
This is a prime hotel and the staff was so helpful, contentious and always there with a smile, joke or advice. Best customer Service in all of Italy as per our experience! The view off the Terrace is mesmerizing and the whole place is very clean!
The location is the key to this hotel. But then comes a beautiful spacious room with balcony with a view – what not to love! The breakfast was the best breakfast we've had in Italy ever.
Great small apart hotel! We were there on our first day of Italy honeymoon trip and we’re welcomed great! Also we got top recommendations where to eat a real Napoli Pizza! We enjoyed 😊
A lovely old fashioned hotel at very good prices, very rare in Italy these days. Very hospitable, very quiet, away from the bustle of central Naples but a short trip on the train nearby
