FAQs about hotels in Boston

Where Everybody Knows Your Name

One of the oldest and most historic US cities, Boston is known as "America’s Walking City". In its heart, next to 18th-century Faneuil Hall, is Quince Market - a food haven. In the nearby seaport, you can take a whale-watching trip or dine at one of the many restaurants serving a Boston specialty: lobster with melted butter.

The streets south of the peaceful Charles River in Back Bay are lined with Victorian brownstone houses. At the downtown end of one – Beacon Street – is the Cheers bar, modeled on the 80's sitcom. Opposite is Boston Common, a large park with a bronze sculpture celebrating the book "Make Way for Ducklings". The golden dome of the House of Representatives is by the other end.

The oldest part is Charlestown and streets around the Bunker Hill obelisk still feature old-style gas lamps, though now they are electric. Over in Cambridge, Harvard is the USA’s oldest and most prestigious university. The campus is open to the public, as is Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), whose central point is an emblematic, Pantheon-like building.

Sport in Boston is also a big thing, with the Celtics and Red Sox among the city’s big name teams.

The largest New England city, Boston has the perfect size for walking and cycling. Logan International Airport is connected by public transport to Boston hotels, motels, apartments and B&Bs.

We loved our stay at the hotel Revere.

We loved our stay at the hotel Revere. The room was spacious, nice big comfy beds, nice city view and location of the hotel was excellent in walking distance to most sightseeing and public transport if needed. We dinned at the hotel restaurant a few times and enjoyed the food. We also had a couple of drinks in the bar. In general a very pleasant hotel and there's free coffee or tea in the lobby❤️there's also a rooftop restaurant but it was closed for the season when we stayed. We would love to stay here again next time we visit Boston

We came to Boston to attend a concert at the MGM venue.

We came to Boston to attend a concert at the MGM venue. We spent two days seeing the sites but that was not enough to take in everything. What we did see was worth the time. We took the Hop-on Hop-off trolly tour, but it would have been less expensive and more convenient if we had used the Uber or Lyft rides and this would have allowed even more time to enjoy the sites we visited. We also attended an unplanned tour of Harvard University. I my opinion this is overrated. The young lady (Anie) who was our tour guide did a great job, but they were doing yard cleanup with machinery and a lot of what she said we couldn't even hear.

Boston is so accessible, I loved it!

Boston is so accessible, I loved it! I’m not used to being able to walk anywhere so having so much right outside the door of the hotel tickled me to death. I wiped exploring their transit options, trying many many cocktails in the pubs, and enjoyed some amazing food. I really love Boston and I’ll definitely be back. Preferably when it’s a bit warmer.

Great City for a weekend break, great restaurants, shops and sightseeing opportunities. The Prudential Tower View is excellent day, sunset and night. Shame that Massachusetts has legalised Cannabis as the city does smell constantly of it and in public toilets.

Boston is a clean city that for the most part is very friendly. We come from a very small country town so it was a new experience for us. I was nervous about driving in the city but people were pleasant and I didnt have any issues except the hotel we stayed in.

Boston is full of surprises, if you stay in SeaPort you can get the Silver line bus for free from Logan airport to 4 different stops in Seaport. We really loved the T, it was easy to use, and super efficient to get around town. We walked all through Boston Commons and saw a lot of Historical monuments. The food in the Italian North End is terrific, we went back 2 times in 4 days. The Sam Adams lounge was also a hit by Government Center and F.Hall. The restaurant Coquette in Omni Hotel was exquisite, and fun to dine at. We loved the Museum of Fine Arts Boston! We found Boston to be preferable to NYC, it's clean, easy, and felt safe.

For the category of hotel close to the airport to rest between flights, probably one of the best we have stayed. Very comfortable and clean room, good options in the restaurant, timely shuttle service and an incredibly fast check in. I forgot to ask his name but the receptionist was top notch and made the whole process dressing all our questions in like 3 minutes. Definitely suggest for a stay-close-to-airport in Boston.

Great location for walking downtown Boston area lots of restaurants and shops. Clean and beautiful hotel. Staff were accommodating. Nice Lounge on the first floor and also on the 6th floor. Breakfast at the restaurant was fantastic but a little pricey. Parking garage next door. Housekeeping came daily which I hadn't seen much since covid-19. Bellhop was excellent. The hotel was centrally located in downtown Boston with access to most of the central city. The room was modern and equipped with two comfortable queen-sized beds. The lift, when it arrived, travelled very quickly. On 17th floor, we had good views of the City and rooftop bar. Our luggage was stored at no cost both on arrival and departure.
