Near Plitvice Lakes, quiet area, but near many local restaurants and supermarkets. Restaurant of choice was GRAND LAKES RESTAURANT, Plitvicka Jezera. Wonderful food and friendly staff. Barac Caves is the perfect place to chill, play area for children and three forest trails leading from the carpark. Exceptionally clean and plush toilets there too!

Our host was very nice and helpful . The room was very clean and has everything that we need for our short stay. Breakfast was prepared for us and was delicious. There are few restaurants in a very close proximity. Sara recommended us one of restaurant and the menu was great.

Lovely countryside area. Close to Plitvice National Park. Also there are a lot of additional walks to be made in the area. If you enjoy riding a bike, the whole area can be explored by bike. Also rafting and kayaking are an option for the area.

Easy to reach Plitvice which was a main reason for choosing...
Easy to reach Plitvice which was a main reason for choosing this area. Local supermarket and great restaurants within easy reach. Easy to get around we drove out to Velebit for kayaking and to see the bears at Kuterevo Bear Refuge. Went to Barac caves and saw horseshoe bats, tried the local quad bike trail and visited Rastoke.

Located near the national park you can reach it within 10 minutes by car. But there is many more to discover than Plitvice Lakes. Caves, cycling, riding, hiking and many more. Her daughter, Barbara, was also wonderful. Our room was perfect and very clean. Because we had an early entrance ticket to Plitvice Lakes National Park, we were invited to begin breakfast 20 before it officially started. The house is located in quiet place in the village Grabovac, which we appreciated. Host was very nice, we got cozy room with balcony where we enjoyed our evenings looking at stars and mornings drinking a coffee. The room was equipped with everything wee needed. They even have a full kitchen you can use! I dropped my motorcycle and Ivan helped me pick it up. I was tired and mentally exhausted after a long day. Beautiful front yard, clean, hospitable.
